Hello friends, it's all about pink at As You Like It Challenge today. We are looking forward to seeing your projects showcasing pink and one other colour. Full details here!!
When I use pink on a project I always reach for some shade of green. Somehow it just seems the right choice as Mother Nature shows me in my garden!!
Here is my pink and green card.
I used a rubber stamp from Lili Of The Valley (who happen to be our sponsor this time) .This was coloured with Promarkers . The beautiful papers are Paper Boutique's Farmyard Friends and just to balance the card I used a foliage die and the lovely Moonstone Fabulous flowers die set.
Perhaps when it is too hot to sleep tonight (if you are in the UK) you can do a bit of crafting!! Honestly, hasn't it been dreadful?! On Tuesday night I even considered sleeping on Bowie and Bumble's cool mat but thought better of it when I remembered that it has a small tear held together with silage pit tape and I didn't want to be the one responsible for squidging out the gel!!
Anyway I have rambled on for long enough. Hope you all remain well.
See you soon xx
So pretty Sarah, love those die cut embellishments too.
ReplyDeleteMy is it sticky. Just been to put the electric fence back up with Al and I'm dripping! Someone left the velux open during the thunderstorm so I was stripping bedding at 10 last night and mopping up wet carpet and shelves. :(
Such a gorgeous card Sarah, so adorable xx

ReplyDeleteSuper sweet card Sarah and yes Mother Nature is rather good at colour matching. I always love your use of patterned papers which you combine effortlessly... when I try it looks like a paper bin just thrown at the card. So pretty and wonderfully assembled x
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah,
ReplyDeletewhat a very beautiful card and your colouring of that sweet image is brilliant.
Love the papers used and those die cut flowers are gorgeous.
My bungalow was made to hold the heat in the winter time so in the summer it takes a very long time to cool down.
So too darn hot to craft even in the night time.
I do have fans but they just swirl the hot air around.
Yesterday I spent the day at my Sons' house so the house was closed up all day.
My I thought I was going to faint when I got back inside the house in the evening.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Absolutely gorgeous image and design.

ReplyDeleteA pretty card Sarah, such a sweet image and beautiful papers.
ReplyDeleteI am one of those lucky people that always seems to sleep even when it's hot, perhaps it's something to do with the pain killers that I take for my RA, I wouldn't sleep at all without them!
