Happy Weekend everyone. I hope that you have some plans and if they include crafting then pop over to
where the new challenge starts.
Liz has chosen an excellent optional theme
Monochrome (or Anything Goes)
prizes, A5 stamp set and A6 stamp and stencil
Here's mine
Once again I had a good old rummage through my paper pads and found a lovely one by Simple Stories, Snap colour vibe. I'm not that good though because the plain mats (as luck should have it an exact match) came from a new paper pad that I found in The Range a couple of weeks ago!! The balloon die was a magazine freebie and the Happy Birthday is from a Clearly Besotted stamp set.
While I am here I would like to invite you to the Allsorts Birthday bash, there's prizes galore and you are sure to have a great time!!

And here's me thinking you were doing so well using up your old DP stash, Sarah! ;) Super monochrome card though. :)
ReplyDeleteEach layer compliments the next perfectly Sarah and so nicely finished with the happy Balloons.

Fabulous card, Sarah! It's the contrasting motifs that grab the attention instead of different colours. x
ReplyDeleteA lovely cheerful sunny birthday card
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card and take on the monochrome
ReplyDeleteA fab monochrome card Sarah.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great monochrome card, I love the mix of patterns...I guess thatʻs why we love paper pads so much!

ReplyDeleteBrilliant monochromatic design Sarah, I love the mix of all the different patterned papers.
ReplyDeleteLiz xx
This is such a fun card with all the different layers and patterns you used. I love it. I'm sorry I haven't visited in a while. Life took over and crafting had to take a back seat, plus health issues decreased my crafting mojo big time. I think I'm back though, so lots of catching up to do.

ReplyDeleteI am trying hard to use my stacks up and have told myself I am not buying any new ones .. .. but I will need to be very strong, LOL!
