Hello from a VERY hot Dorset UK. We are many, many days without rain and it's so hot that my HRT patch won't stick!!! I know I'm over sharing but many of you will know what I mean😁
Anyway, I thought a cooling Christmas card might help as my DT piece for
where the theme is Favourite Colouring Medium
I love my Promarkers. I have tried many other alcohol markers but always go back to what I know. They blend together beautifully and layer for shading brilliantly too.
Many of you will remember Marianne Fisher from Mariannes Craftroom, well she is hanging up her glue gun and has been selling lots of her crafty stash. I bought some stamps and she kindly sent some pre-stamped images so I have used on of them on my card today. It's an adorable LOTV stamp. The papers are also LOTV in collaboration with Nitwits that was available in an 8x8 paper pad back in the day. Still available at Nitwits in digital form Snow Princess.
Thank you for stopping by today. I will leave you with Mollie and Jackson on the
water slide from last weekend. I managed to keep off it this time although it was very tempting!!
See you soon xx

Gorgeous card Sarah, I remember these images and many more, I still have 2 pads of them in my cupborad, fabulous colouring and snowflakes and love the photos of the kids, I hung up my togs from water sliding quite a few years ago, thought I could, but guess what, I shouldn't have, ha ha ha.

Gorgeous card Sarah, adorable image and I love the layout of your design.
ReplyDeleteIt’s been much cooler in North Devon today, with a low damp mist this evening. It’s been a welcome relief from the heat of the last few weeks.

Perfect way to cool down, if Bowie and Bumble are anything like our girls then they joined in the fun.
ReplyDeleteI remember Marianne and hubby Graham very well, they are form East Anglia so we met up once or twice at craft shows.
Fun image and card.

Such a sweet design Sarah, love your use of purple. It's funny how we have our own favourite alcohol pens. I love my Copics for the range of colours available and the flexible nib. I've tried Altenew's but they have too hard a nib, as are Promarkers, for my taste. Chacun a son gout, as they say in France! :)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful Christmas design. Your papers are so pretty and delicate bringing everything together.
ReplyDeleteA really gorgeous card, Sarah in those lovely shades. Great photos too. I am totally over the summer now (I was over it by June to be honest) and so looking forward to cooler weather. May your HRT patch remain sticky!! x
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet Christmas card. Love the sweet image. I'm not very much into colouring ... shocker I know, but when I do have to colour I tend to use my copics, which are the only alcohol markers I ever tried :-) I think I would have been sliding right along with Mollie and Jackson. They look like they're having so much fun :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful, soft card. I love the way you have colored this little LOTV stamp. I can't believe Mollie and Jackson are that big! My how time does fly.
