Temptation...

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin...I'm feeling a bit "wordy"  so bear with!!

I have a Cuddly Buddly DT card to share with you today and what a cutie don't you think?!

I coloured the image with my SN pencils to compliment the digi papers, also by Cuddly Buddly.
The coredinations mat was a perfect colour match as was the ribbon although it looks much darker in the photograph. I used a new SB die to cut the artwork out.

This image reminded of me how naughty dogs can be when it comes to food and took me back to our youngest's 7th Birthday. I had taken chicken pieces out of the freezer  and left them on the work top to defrost so that I could cook them later on for the upcoming party. We had to pop to town for some other bits and pieces and shut Mog and Suzy in the Utility Room as usual. On our return, the chicken pieces had gone leaving only the polystyrene tray and one very guilty looking boy dog!! He had not only  managed to stand on his hind legs to open the utility room door with his front paw, but also leapt onto the worktop where he must have sat and devoured the whole lot.  After that we swapped the conventional handle for a door knob!! He must have had a stomach of steel as he suffered no ill effects at all...luckily for him and  us!!

Anyway, enough of my sentimental journey.

Super card Sarah, love the bow & the great pierced rectangles. I got dies from that place too - fantastic prices! Anyway, its a sweet card and a sweet story (probably more savoury!) to go with it! Brilliant, Jx

A story to make me smile Sarah and have a similar one. Some years ago we took on a four year old lab from an elderly lady as she could no longer cope. It was quite late when we got back from picking her up and got fish and chips on the way home, put them in the kitchen whilst we let the other dogs out until we could integrate them together.

You know what happened of course, yes she eat fish and chips for six. She was lovely but obviously had no social skills and did improve and integrate as time went on but we have never taken on another adult dog and stuck with puppies ever since !

So as you can guess Love your card.

Awwww, that is so adorable!
And aren't dogs clever when they want to be? Well, most dogs anyway... The Cocker Spaniel we had when I was growing up was daft as a brush, lol. x

Gorgeous card hunny, so cuddly. Reminds me of a Red Setter that used to live next door - I was talking to his mum in the garden for about five minutes, after she went back indoors I heard a howl - he had only managed to help himself to 24 sausage rolls that were on a cooling rack on the table, just crumbs left! They are tinkers - one of mine (we suspect the lurcher as she was the tallest) scoffed a leg of lamb that had been left to cool on the side. Hugs xx

Beautiful paper, Sarah and such a super adorable image! I have to say that’s incredible self-control!! That cake would be in my dog’s stomach before the plate got anywhere near the floor!!! Years ago when we had our Dobermans one of them ate half a tub of wallpaper paste! Another stomach of steel as he wasn’t even slightly sick afterwards!!! I could write a book about all the weird and wonderful things my pets have done! xx

I can relate to this Sarah. Last week we had a couple of visitors who had lunch with us before shooting off. There were a couple of leftover beef sarnies on the table when they left but after coming back in from seeing them off, they had gone. After accusing hubster I found a couple of dusty paw prints on the chair so it appeared that Max had scoffed them while my back was turned!
Great card by the way!

Brilliant image Sarah. Our lab is very good where food is concerned, except if it lands on the floor. In his mind it's his and it's gone. Collie at work is 4 and he is a wee devil, will pinch food off the table as quick as look at you. Girls know that if I call them to come for lunch or tea to be quick or he will be there before them. Ha ha ha - WOW he was lucky he wasn't ill. How naughty but then again all the pets we have owned have been just as naughty. My dog stole my cake right out of my hand just as I went to devour it. I remember being totally gutted as there was no more lol. Your card is so beautiful Sarah. I love the image and the gorgeous clean layout. It looks fab. Michelle x

Awww this is sooooo adorable Sarah - lush ribbon too :o)
Your story reminds me of something similar. My Dad always used to wash the whole chicken and then sit it on top of an empty glass milk bottle to drain before stuffing and one Sunday he did this but the back door was open and we just made it into the kitchen in time to see the neighbours cat make off with it - not sure what we had for dinner instead!!!
Hope you are well.
Have a fab evening.

Hi Sarah,
what a very brilliant card, and such a cutie image.
Love it.
Now your story reminds me of when my children were young, we had a Dalmatian named spot a very original name for a Dalmatian don't you think. lol
He used to open my doors and go up to my bed and get into the bed not just on top, so we had to take off the door handles too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Caught a glimpse of this cute image as I was looking at your holly card, and had to get a closer look. This is just such an adorable puppy, and I smiled at your forbidden foods story too. Love that new pierced S/B die - and so right for this beautifully colored puppy, and that digi paper is sweet. Very cool match with your pretty bow. TFS
