Well I suppose it had to come sooner or later and for us here in picturesque Dorset it's a glorious one so far.  Having collected apples in her basket I thought this little maid would be an appropriate entry in the following challenges Papertake Weekly "A Hazy Shade Of Autumn" and Wild Orchid "Autumn Colours.
