Hello my crafty friends, I hope you are well this Bank Holiday Monday, if a little wet!! It's a very wet Dorset today and where better to spend it than in the work room where I made this...
...for several reasons actually. A challenge that I rather fancy featuring your favourite animal, a chance to practice with my Spectrum Noir pencils and, after much deliberation, I decided to have a bash at answering the DT call at Cuddly Buddly.
I am so thrilled with my pencil work today that I even took a close up shot, although the shading around Charley with Willow was done using Flex markers.
I started with another LOTV sketch and put the base together before colouring up my stamped image (actually one of the first I ever bought when the crafting bug hit!!), I actually have this in rubber but a digi is available. The papers are one of the MME So Sophie range, Graceful I think. To finish off I punched the flowers and added pearls to the centres.
Before I consider chickening out entering the DT call I'm off to play here...(!!)

My I do love this card.
That image is sooooooooooooooooooo! sweet, and I can't think who is the sweetest the young lady or the horse. I will say it's a draw.
Your colouring in with your pencils is perfect, and as usual the papers are just fab.
It's very wet and windy in Kent today too, and I think it's the same all over the country.

The said Shetland was very naughty at the pony games on Saturday, he had folk in stitches as he kept bucking Beth off or putting his head down. But Beth being Beth just got back , she wasn't letting him get away with it she said. Hazel xx

I am a knitter rather than crochet. I had to really think about the Bunny, I did manage after a couple of goes. Just have a go it will be worth it.

Aw, this is just cute as can be with this sweet image. Your pencil coloring is super, with some great shading & highlights. I find that difficult to do with pencils, but you've nailed it perfectly. As always, you've selected a delightful image, paired it with wonderful papers & I love that sentiment with this particular image. It's going to bring warmth to whomever receives it and make them feel like you've sent a huge big hug! TFS & Hugs. oh yes good luck with the DT call. You'd be wonderful on their team.
