Spring on a card

Hello friends, I hope you are well and have had a good weekend wherever you are in the world. We awoke to a hard frost that quickly revealed wall to wall blue sky so made the most of it and headed off to Broadchurch West Bay for a stroll, it was mighty cold but beautiful and we warmed up with a coffee and a danish pastry!!

Before I jump in the bath and get settled ready for Call the Midwife I just want to share a card inspired by several challenges that I put together using a LOTV stamp that I bought well over a year ago and have taken it out and put it back that many times I've lost count!! Anyway here it is coloured with Promarkers...spring on a card!!

Some challenges that I would like to enter

Allsorts #294 - Spring Flowers
Little Claire #53 - Bright and Beautiful
Aud Sentiments #123 - Anything Goes
I Love Promarkers #252 - Hobbies (Flower arranging)
Without Words January - Dreaming of Spring

Enjoy the rest of your evening and stay warm/cool (delete as applicable!!)

See you soon xx

  2. Looks a gorgeous morning Sarah. Hope you ducked when you walked under the cliffs!
I have this stamp and it's still to be inked. Perhaps it will come out with the daffodils, I planted along the back track, if the sheep haven't eaten them! Keep warm, the temp is falling as I type and is due to be below the -4' as it was last night.:)

    Love your stunning photos.
We had a sunny but extremely cold day here. Went for à walk with John but the cold went for his knees so we had to cut it short.

We used to holiday at west bay every year as kids!! I'll have to show mum these photos :-D
We used to have a caravan and go to highlands end campsite at the top of the hill the other side of west bay and always walk down there! Do you live very close by?

  25. Aww that's lovely Sarah! I have wonderful memories there too! Oh to go back!!
My grandad owned a motel there for a couple years and my mum & dad and his 3 brothers all lived and worked there in their late teens before they came back to Sussex.
When we got a little older and started holidaying further afield to North devon we still took a half way stop at west bay to and from holiday every year! We'd still be doing that if I wasn't severely ill! Last time I went there was 5 years ago on the way back from a classic mini weekend in Newquay with my boyfriend, we met my parents there for the afternoon :-) xx

    1. I had been recently admiring Jen Nelsons cards similar to Mary J :-P
Mine never look half as good though!
Was Broadchurch good Monday night? I've heard it's been really popular! Hopefully one day I'll improve a bit and be able to watch TV again and I'll buy the box set! Would live to watch it!! Or even better, improve a lot and go back! :-) maybe we could meet there for some chippies and an ice cream :-P
Was there many people there on Sunday? I've not been there in the winter before. Bet it's been a lot busier since broadchurch started! It's made those cliffs very famous!!x

  32. TFS those breathtaking scenes - what a pleasure to visit such awesome places. Your breakfast sounded divine. Loved that gorgeous picture of yellow daffodils (or jonquils..I'm never certain of the proper name). That yellow was so fresh with the bright blue, and just screams 'Spring'. Delighted to hear you like the Midwives. I enjoyed the Christmas special, but the new series is not in the USA yet. Downton Abbey is though!! TFS & Hugs.
