Which one are you?

Hello you lovely people and I hope you are well today, if not, I hope tomorrow is better for you.

I am here this morning with my DT card for

As You Like It and our question for you this time is

CAS or Fussy?

Me? I'm not actually sure. I like to keep my cards flat for posting which (usually) means little in the way of embellishments, therefore not fussy.  BUT I do use layers, and  patterned papers are my favourite thing so lots of "white space" (as in the true meaning of CAS) goes out of the window too!! Oh dear what a conundrum...I know...you decide!!

Anyway my offering is a thank you card made with a cute little stamp that came with a recent magazine. I coloured with SN pencils and blending solution and used scraps of paper for the scalloped border and that, my friends, is that.

One or two challenges to play along with

Winter Wonderland - KISS
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week 163
Crafty Gals Corner #6 - Anything Goes

I do hope you will come and play along, you will be most welcome.

Thanks for coming by and for your kind words. It means a lot xx

  1. Oh this is so cute and pretty too. I think most people are going to more flat cards because of the postage, not neccessary CAS but somewhere in between.

  4. Well I think it qualifies for CAS hunny, as there is nowt FAFfy about this little cutie, there he is, front and centre. I got those stamps too, aren't they fabulous?! Loving your adorable card and thank you to the AYLI team for having me on board for this challenge. Hugs xx

  5. Brilliant card Sarah,
Love that cute image and your pretty papers.
Oh! I am "fussy" for my personal cards. I don't really mind the postage if I have enjoyed making it for someone special. I do a fair amount of "flat" for my customers if they want that. If they are handing over the card they also want them "fussy"
    So a mixture for me
    Have a great day

  7. So sweet Sarah. That CAS definition is so difficult, it depends on where you look. Open space is the thing and no embellishments, so CAS in the loosest meaning, perhaps it falls under KISS, Keep It Sweet n Simple! :)

  12. This is just gorgeous!! Love the textured card the image is on! This is def CAS but I know what you mean there's a fine line between CAS and fancy as you can still add embelishments and pretty papers and it be CAS

  14. This is ADORABLE!!! Love the image and your pretty papers and design!! :) There are so many different "definitions" any more of CAS and fussy so not sure it's that cut and dry, but yes, my sentiments are just like yours for keeping things flat for mailing! No one wants to mess around with a difficult card to mail out or it being costly to do so. I also like to donate and most of them don't like those big and fussy cards or don't even allow them. simple is best described like Julie B :)

  29. Whatever label you want to put on your card style is fine with me, Sarah! All I know is that they are all sensational! Your are very inspiring to me with your use of patterned paper, which is very hard for me to do because I love all that white space. However, with the (cough) amount of pp I have, I MUST start using more of it or find it another home! Great thank you card and use of snippets!! Happy Valentine's Day and weekend!! Hugs, Darnell
