Hello blog land and I hope this finds you well today.
While I was looking for a suitable man stamp I rediscovered a (now discontinued) colour it yourself LOTV art pad, so set to with my SN pencils.
The "manly" gingham was the remainder from a sheet of A4 that I had printed off for another project and suited the unfussy look perfectly together with some brown coredinations cardstock for mats.
These challenges were the inspiration
Without Words - July Colour Challenge Blue and Brown
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week #186
Crafty Friends #10 - Use a punch (the tag was punched)
Enjoy your day and see you soon xx

Awwww, such a darling image, made even more beautiful with your great pencil colors. You must have every gingham color that exists, because you always have just THE right one to go with your motifs & colors. This one is just so very cute. (and the Olive Garden meal was just superb. I look at the menu, and then always order the same thing. 'Cause it's so good!). TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card Sarah, I just love that sweet image and your great design.

Hi Sarah,
ReplyDeletewhat a very fab image, and your have coloured it so perfectly.
Great Gingham paper used too.
My you sound like you did get very wet this morning.
As I said we seem to get the smallest amount of rain in my area, and we haven't cut the grass for a couple of weeks as it will die if we cut it too short when it's starving of water.
My kitchen is in the front of my house which doesn't allow for a hose pipe as I have to run it through my living room, and it won't fit on my kitchen mixer tap.
Tried buying one of those X hose things, and using the bathroom tap but the pressure isn't enough to extend it.
So hey ho it's the watering cans for me, and then backache after.
So any rain is a pleasure for me.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Gorgeous card Sarah & that image is so sweet :o)
