Cute and Girly...

...just like me (depending on who you talk to!!)

Another Cutie Pie Challenge starts today and Cute and Girly is the theme for this month.
 Easy peasy lemon squeezy!!

is our sponsor this time and we were able to play with some digis and here is what I did with
Share a latte definitely cute and girly.

Pebbles Garden Party was the starting point for this and she was coloured with Promarkers to match. The sentiment is from CB Sweet little sentiments set. Those eagle eyed among you will have noticed stitching  (albeit not very good!!). A little while ago the diddy sewing machines in Hobbycraft were half price, so for £12.50 it was too good to miss and it's actually done a good job, although it is rather noisy for such a small machine!!

Some challenges

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Penny's papercrafty challenge #239 - Feature a child
Graphit markers colouring Wk #32 - inspired by flowers

Ruby's rainbow #110 - For a little girl
Little Claire Digi Challenge #8 - Favourite colour combo (pink and aqua)

Hope you will bring your cute and girly creations over to join us, the more the merrier!!

See you soon xx

  5. Such a sweet image Sarah and beautifully executed as always.
Looks like you are in for a wet week down there. We could do with a bit here as the ponds are so low the sheep can paddle around the fence lines and get in the meadow. The grass is in short supply so you can't really blame them! x

  19. Hi Sarah,
    what a very cutie.
    The image not you. LOL.
    Only kidding.
Wonderful card, and wonderful colouring of that cute image.
Great and fab design as always.
Didn't that little sewing machine do well.
Sadly I can't see to thread the needle of my sewing machine, and it's quite old, and doesn't have a needle threader as some of new ones.
I tried the needle threader you get when sewing by hand, but that took me sooooooo! long I gave up and did it by hand, and that took me ages too.
As you get older you loose the padding on you fingers, and some of the feeling too so sewing is a right pain for me, and I used to be able to stitch so neatly, and was commended for a very neat stitching once.
Today I had to sew some buttons back on a waistcoat of a suit for my daughter's partner, as they are going to a wedding on Saturday.
Well the suit is from Saville Row, and you don't expect the buttons to come off, but then they are all done by machine nowadays, and once a thread gets loose that's it.
I can tell you I was scared I would ruin it with my eyes. LOL.
Anyway all done now, but the pockets were still sewn up, and I'm darned if I could see the stitching to open them.
Oh the joys of getting old
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
