This was one of those cards that nearly ended up "recycled" several times and I'm still not really happy with it. I love the stamp, love the "free" embossing folder but somehow it just doesn't work. There is shading on her coat (what possessed me to colour it red I don't know!!) which is hardly visible in the picture, so sorry for the "flat" look. Anyway pop over to the main blog to have a look at what my teamies have made...they have nailed it!!

I think this is a darling card! I love the image, the colors and the coloring are superb and its designed perfectly! I pray life settles down for both of us, the past couple weeks and the next couples have been kinda crazy for me. BTW, you should enter 'Define Good' in the TCP Tuesday Challenge...I don't think it closes until Monday night.

Plus you have created a really stylish CAS card which is no mean feat - this I know because I find CAS more difficult than fussy! So, there you are - I love this card... have a good week.

ReplyDeleteThis is BEAUTIFUL! Her coat looks just fine (but I know what you mean about the shading not showing in the photo)...however, it does and the little penguin showed up with gorgeous shading! It's a darling image, doesn't look flat at all. Love the way you've used the border folder. That's an elegant touch to a cute image, and putting the silver behind it, wow! Good job all round, I'd say. Your coloring is great. Glad you had time to enjoy a warm drink. Big hugs & TFS. Have a terrific week.

I think you coloured her coat red because it is a Christmassy image so goes perfectly well for this.
