Hello Friends...Monday again but I really don't mind as I am on annual leave this week...Yay!! Nor do I mind if it rains as I am going to please myself come what may!!
Anyway, today is the start of our June Challenge at
and, rather appropriately looking at the forecast, the theme is Splish, Splash, Splosh...think anything water related, but don't forget it must be CUTE, here is my inspiration using Fifi Bubbles from one of the sponsors.
I decided on an easel card for this project and found this, hardly touched, paper pack from Wild Rose Studio that has different dotty papers in pink and turquoise which suited what I had in mind.
Little Fifi was coloured with Promarkers to match and the MFT Scalloped Frame just had to come out again. The sentiment was done on the computer and I used lashings of silver glitter for the bath's rolled top and clawed feet and stickles for the bubbles.

ReplyDeleteLovely work as always, pretty colours and design Sarah. As for the photo bomber, there is a story behind that, one of the others got over enthusiastic with the ducklings, got a zap from the fence and all the others went running for the hills in sympathy.

She IS a little cutie Sarah and love her cute shower cap and the glittery bubbles..gorgeous card...and ooh..annual leave..I wish I had put in for more annual leave as it is cold and frosty in the mornings at the moment and I don't want to go out to work..and then every house I go to has the heaters set on 100o and I nearly cook..lol..

Hi Sarah - oh this card is gorgeous. The image is adorable and you have coloured her beautifully - wonderful sparkly bubbles. Your carding is wonderful too - I love those papers and your sentiment. Flipping' weather is vile! We were supposed to be coming down to your part of the world tomorrow for a week's holiday - Nige has postponed it given the weather forecast. We decided if we are lucky enough to be able to choose when to go on holiday it is a bit silly to go when the wether is so bad!
