How do you text? - AYLI

Hello everyone.

I am sharing this card to inspire you to join in at

where we are interested to know how you add text to your cards.

I am sure I am not alone in saying that I have drawers full of sentiment stamps but can never find one that is quite right...sound familiar!? So quite often I am saved by a computer generated sentiment mounted on complimentary board.

I used an image from our sponsor Polkadoodles and she is called Glass Half Full.
I used First Edition papers Wanderlust as my starting point and coloured her with Promarkers to match.

I am not sure what posessed me to choose an image with lots of hair as I struggle so much with it. However, I am relatively pleased with my efforts. When the darker nights arrive I might enrol myself on a colouring course.

I hope you will join us.

See you soon xx

  1. Yep, that does sound familiar Sarah, I even catalogued mine into a folder then lost the folder, I'm still convinced hubby threw it out as it's one I salvaged when he was clearing things in his office.

Your card is such a pretty shape and that is a great sentiment.

  3. A super card Sarah, a sweet image and I love the shape.
I struggle with hair too so you're not alone. I start off using colours for blond hair and because I can't seem to get the definition I want I add darker tones and eventually I end up with a brunette! Ha, ha :)

  17. I love your shaped encouragement card, Sarah! I always find a sediment that's good enough because I can't be bothered fiddling with it on the computer. Lazy much? haha! It really does pay off, however, when you want that perfect sediment like here! Great coloring and great pp!! Hugs, Darnell
