Sailing by...

It's raining again, so tinkering about in the stables has met an abrupt end so what else can I do but craft!! It is my Uncle Dave's Birthday at the end of the week so I made this.

It is two thirds of a very old Woodware stamp that I coloured with Promarkers and mounted on some coordinating card. It looked a little flat so I added a bit of sparkle pen to the waves and used glossy accents to add some sheen.

Honestly, that tile looks orange but it is actually the same red as the mat, how does a camera do that?

Thank you for dropping in xx

  9. Hi Sarah, fab masculine card - am sure your uncle will be super pleased with it.
I also have trouble with colours and camera - I got a collapsible light box ages ago, which helped a bit, but the camera still gets it wrong occasionally. If I was really bothered I'd get my old, but very good, proper camera out instead of using my phone, but it's a real faff - so I don't! ;-)

  10. Funnily enough, I had the very same stamp out the other day. A great masculine card with that oldie but very much a goodie stamp! It poured down yesterday morning and then again late afternoon and then in the night! The hay meadows are looking a bit battered and damp! :)
