Happy Saturday everyone and I hope you are well. I am beyond delighted to be sharing my DT piece for
because I have picked the theme for you and it won't be a shock to my longstanding crafty friends to see that it's
Four legged friends.
This time I am sharing a foal that I cross stitched
This year I have made a huge effort to complete all those unfinished projects that have somehow accumulated over the years and this is one of them. I was stitching like billy-o up until last week to get this finished. I find it easier to cross stitch in the summer months when the light is better. That said I do have a Cotton and Twine Christmas sampler from a couple of years ago, so I'd better get my finger out!!
Thank you for sharing your day with me and I hope that you will join us at Allsorts for my Four legged friend challenge. Anything Goes is also welcome too.
See you soon xx
Absolutely stunning Sarah,a beautiful project
ReplyDeleteThe theme appeals to me as much as you Sarah and was lovely to create for. Your cross stitch foal is beautiful, it looks to be on very fine aida so I'm sure testing for the eyes.

ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you on stitching in the summer. I had hopes of finishing a piece - fingers still crossed as it is all shades of white - a Westie in honour of the one I used to have.
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely and beautifully stitched too.
This is so beautiful, Sarah! Oddly, I have been thinking of getting out some of my unfinished stitching projects. I think you have just sealed the deal. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the detail on this wonderful cross stitch! I use to cross stitch years ago and love that new dies are coming out for stitching. It brings back great memories.
