Morning all. I have stepped back in time a bit with my card today. My blogging buddy Janice recently showcased several DT cards featuring decoupage and it inspired me to drag out long forgotten sheets, get cutting and stage a revival!! . Actually that is a lie as they were die cut, but in my defence I did painstakingly file off all the little pips!!
Here is the result
I used a freebie embossing folder for the mat and I think the stamp came with it too. The papers were in my bits and pieces box and the daisy trim is also a mystery.
So, as promised Janice here is my decoupaged card and some challenges to go with it!!

Great revival Sarah. Your card is beautiful. The orange colours are gorgeous. I love getting out my old crafting goodies and using them. You've inspired me to go and check out what decoupage sheets I've got. Michelle x
Stunning image, colour and detail Sarah. I do love a bit of decoupage.
xx
Oh this is gorgeous Sarah! Love the colours and the image is adorable! I've just come across a whole load of my old decoupage cards sorting everything out for my son's summer fair at school this week... I appear to have a whole box full of them!
sorry I'm still so intermittent with my comments right now. Hopefully I will soon be happy and pain free again though :-) x
A real cutie...love the decoupage and I must admit I have a box full still in their packets unopened....maybe just maybe I may open one up....tomorrow....love the card looks gorgeous Sarah.xx

Oh how pretty Sarah! Love the peachy colours and it's a good while since I did any decoupage. I do love the 3-D result, and filing the pips off redy cut layers is an art in itself ; )
Hugs, Di xx
So pretty, and gorgeous colours. I think I have that embossing folder too. :0)
What a pretty card, Sarah. A beautiful summer's day, picnic in the meadows, lovely weather and good food ... that's what I see! Sorry I'm late visiting... it's been utter chaos at our home for the past month! Have a lovely week!
hugs, Asha
Hi Sarah,
another really fab card.
I love that super decoupage image.
Isn't she just the cutest.
Fab colours used, and wonderful papers.
I also like the way you have embossed the oval die cut.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Ahhh decoupage, now that takes me back!! :) Like a lot of people it was my introduction to card making but I can’t cut for toffee so it always put me off. They hadn’t invented the die-cut stuff in my day!!!! Lol!
Gorgeous, gorgeous card, Sarah! Love that colour scheme, so warm and summery! xx
Love this Sarah, so pretty and fab colours... I get the decoupage out occasionally, but usually the die cut cheat version :o) Hugs, Lisa x
Pretty, pretty. Love the colors & the layout. Your decoupage images are beautiful the way you've placed them on the diecut...what a soft serene summertime card. TFS & Hugs
This is beautiful! I've had many a happy hour working on decoupage - so lovely to see it being used in such a gorgeous way. I love the pretty flower border.
Rebecca.
Filing off all those pips has paid off as you have made such a pretty card!
The little Sarah Kay image is just gorgeous. Love that you have embossed your scalloped mat, and the ribbon gives is a really country feel to match the style of the image. Great decoupage revival!
