More than One fold

Hello friends, hope you are well on this Saturday morning. I must first apologise if I've not been to visit you this week. It's been a little bit hectic at work so my crafty time has rather gone by the wayside. I will endeavour to have a blogging session when it rains, which it is sure to given that we have a holiday weekend to look forward to!! Anyway, on to the reason for my post today.

At Allsorts this week Liz has chosen the optional theme of

More than one fold.

I have used my trusty Presscut Stepper Die Set and made this...

...and here she is at a jaunty angle too

The pretty paper is from The Range and I found the sweet Marianne Designs cut up sheet in my stash. A freebie tag die and stamp set finished it nicely together with a trio of pretty flowers and a little piece of irridescent embroidery thread.

If you prefer, you can always take the Anything Goes option to be in with a chance of one of the prizes below.

Prizes from Oakwood (2 x A5 stamp sets) and Highlight Crafts (3 x A5 stencils)

Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend if you are in the UK.

See you soon xx

Favourite Die - AYLI DT

Hello everyone. Just a quick post to share my DT inspiration for

We would love to see your Favourite Die this time.

I have several in my crafty arsenal that I reach for time and time again, my Presscut Stepper Die is one of them.

One pass though the Gemini and it's done, no measuring scoring and cutting!!
Once again I have used a James rubber stamp. Coloured with markers and some pencil as he looked a bit flat. I lacquered the baubles and added sparkle to his tinsel although the photograph is "pants" photographing mirri board is a nightmare!!

That is all for now peeps, see you when I do xx

Ribbon and Rubber at The Cutie Pies

Hello folks, hope you are ready to face the week following a lovely weekend!!
We have been lucky with the weather so I managed to mow the lawn and spend some time in the garden. Bowie and Bumble really enjoyed attacking the mower!! Thankfully they soon got bored and  then proceeded to dig up my borders...little terrors. Still, I must forgive them as they are one year old today!!
Anyway on with the job in hand.

It's time for some mid challenge inspiration Cutie Pie style!! Our current challenge is
Ribbon and Rubber.

Here is what I made

My Presscut stepper die had an airing and the grand opening of several  more packets took place for the stamp set and other dies (oops...Love Cynthia, Sue Wilson Spring Foliage and Elizabeth Craft ). The papers came out of my scrap box and I found a piece of seam binding that matched perfectly, although it doesn't look that way at all in the photograph!!

I do hope that you will join us, if you haven't already, there is still time!!

Until next time xx

Favourite Shape or Fold

Hello friends hope you are well today.

It's time for a new challenge at As You Like It Challenge

and we are looking forward to seeing your favourite card shape or fold.

Here's mine...a stepper

I bought this Presscut Stepper die last year and I am so glad I did as I have had so much use from it. Stamping Mad Janice is a huge fan too!! My good friend Kim asked me to make a Birthday card for her Mum and wanted it fairly flat for posting so the stepper fold was just right. Equally it can be made really fancy dancy and elaborate!! It was also another chance to get out my Neat and Tangled "Hand Stitched" stamp set and use my long awaited accompanying Hoop die too. The card base and patterned paper were free with magazines a while back and the image was coloured with Promarkers to suit. The little Best Mum stamp was also free. All it needed was some pearls as finishing touches.

I am going to play at these challenges

Cardz 4 Galz #15 - Fantastic florals
Penny Black and More - Anything Goes + Stamp and dies
Lil patch of crafty friends #27 - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion #298 - Anything Goes
Crafting From The Heart #98 - Anything Goes
Seven Hills Crafts February Challenge - Fancy folds

Thank you for stopping by today, it's much appreciated xx

Cupcake anyone?

Hello there and I hope you are all well. I grabbed a few minutes to myself at the weekend and put together this cheerful card using my super duper stepper die set. I had a further delve into my papers and found Pebbles Sunny side.

I won Little Kiki with her cupcake recently so it was her first outing and she was coloured with Promarkers to coordinate with those lovely papers. All she needed was a little stardust on her cupcakes to finish off.

I would like to enter these challenges

Digi Choosday #32 - Dies and punches
Cute Card Thursday #386 - Anything Goes
A Gem Of A Challenge #151 - One for the girls
The Craft Barn - Something Sweet (Cupcakes & gooey icing!!)
Allsorts #324 - Favourite Colour (Teal and shades thereof)
Little Miss Muffett #118 - Anything Goes

Righty ho, better get a wriggle on and get ready for work!! Have a good day whatever you are doing and see you soon xx

Your favourite time

Hello, hello!! The weekend is within touching distance and today

have a new challenge starting and the theme is......

Your favourite Decade/Time in your life, a project that reflects a memorable event or time in your life  and don't forget to tell us why when you link up

It's the 60's for me!! I don't advertise the fact but I was born in the 1960's and have a real love for the music of that time including The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Bee Gees and the like and I am lucky enough to have lots of old 45's in my record collection.
The fashion of that time also interests me hugely and I have vivid memories of certain outfits that my Mum used to wear when I was a littley!!

As you can see I used my fabulous stepper die (again!!) this time layering the mats in a different way. The groovy little lady is Faye who was coloured with Promarkers. The papers are VERY old Creative Expressions Foundations.

This shows the layers and dimension. The speech bubbles are "Say what" and the stamps from Paper Smooches.
Lashings of stickles and a beautiful aqua bow to finish it off.

Hope you will take the time and join us!!

I am going along to these challenges

Allsorts #311 - No Squares allowed
Creative Inspirations #314 - Anything Goes
Little Miss Muffet #112 - Anything Goes
A Gem of a Challenge #144 - More than one fold

Have a good day xx
