All Creatures Great and Small at Allsorts

Hello friends. The new challenge starts at Allsorts today and the optional theme is

All Creatures Great and Small (Anything Goes also welcome)

which is very handy as I am still in Christmas mode as I am so behind with my makes.

I made tags using an old and unused die set from Impression Obsession. The dies that I used to cut the animals was a charity shop find so, I'm afraid, I don't know the brand. First I inked the snow, then masked off to stamp the Christmas trees, stuck on the animals and then got splattering with a Posca pen. I think I was a little bit over enthusiastic as they really are mega snowflakes!!

2 prizes of stamps, stickers and scenescapes from Lavinia Stamps (photos not to scale) Please note, we (Lavinia) cannot provide exchanges/replacements/refunds for any products received through this third-party giveaway.

Thank you for dropping in and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

See you soon x

Favourite Wild Animal at AYLI

Hello and welcome everyone.

It's time for a new challenge at

where the theme is your Favourite Wild Animal (and why this is the case)

We live in a fairly rural location so are fortunate to get lots of wildlife visit us. My favourite is the hare. They are wonderful to watch and are hard to find in Dorset so it's quite special that we have them close by.

I made a CAS card using a great stamp from a set from Taylored Expressions Party Grumplings. I cannot find a link anywhere as the set is quite old.

I coloured the little fellow with Promarkers, added some glitter for the candle and mounted him on a strip of spotted card that was lurking in my stash. The sentiment is from the set too.

That's all from me for today. I will be at a local agricultural show when this goes live so wish me luck, there are thunderstorms forecast and I'm really not a fan!!

See you soon xx

Summer Blooms reminder

Hello all. I am here with a reminder that there is still time to join in at

We Love Stamping where the current theme is Summer Blooms. You can of course take the Anything Goes route too.

I am still using old stash and found this delightful grey stamp in my crafty arsenal that I coloured with my Promarkers and fussy cut. I used my favourite Daisy Mae tag die  as the base and pasted the magazine freebie stamped message and stamped image using matte medium. I can't deny I was a bit worried that the markers would run but lo and behold, they didn't!! I finished it off with a bundle of ribbons secured with a button.

Thankful for your visit today. See you soon xx

Emboss at Allsorts

Happy Weekend, friends and visitors. I hope that last week was kind to you and that you have lovely plans for the weekend. Ours will be quiet after last weeks' shenanigans!!

I am still in Christmas mode for the new challenge at

where Lynne has chosen the optional theme of Embossing (Heat or Dry) or Anything Goes.

One prize, Die, embossing folder and layering stencil bundle from Lisa Horton Crafts

I dry embossed my background using a Crafters Companion Scandinavian Christmas EF. On top of that I stuck a heat embossed Woodware Clear stamped bauble that I painted with those little hard shimmer pots that I just cannot remember the name of!!

The sentiment is a Creative Expressions die. Once again I wish that I had made more than one of these!!

Thank you for dropping by and see you soon xx

Colouring Medium at AYLI

Hello from a VERY hot Dorset UK. We are many, many days without rain and it's so hot that my HRT patch won't stick!!! I know I'm over sharing but many of you will know what I mean😁

Anyway, I thought a cooling Christmas card might help as my DT piece for

where the theme is Favourite Colouring Medium

I love my Promarkers. I have tried many other alcohol markers but always go back to what I know. They blend together beautifully and layer for shading brilliantly too.

Many of you will remember Marianne Fisher from Mariannes Craftroom, well she is hanging up her glue gun and has been selling lots of her crafty stash. I bought some stamps and she kindly sent some pre-stamped images so I have used on of them on my card today. It's an adorable LOTV stamp. The papers are also LOTV in collaboration with Nitwits that was available in an 8x8 paper pad back in the day. Still available at Nitwits in digital form Snow Princess.

Thank you for stopping by today. I will leave you with Mollie and Jackson on the
water slide from last weekend. I managed to keep off it this time although it was very tempting!!

See you soon xx
