We Love Stamping mid way

Hello everyone. I am here today with my mid way inspiration for

We Love Stamping Challenge Trees and Leaves

that is still current, so there is time to add an entry or two!!

I used a wood mounted rubber stamp this time (I think it might have been a Judykins one) and painted it with shimmer paint which as usual you are unable to see in the photo, which happens to be particularly bad on this occasion!! The sentiment is from a very old clear set by Lili of the Valley. Mounted on silver board and some purple glitter.

Connor and Amelia's Wedding last weekend was wonderful.

Here are the happy couple

Of course cricket featured...a LOT and each table had a pitch related name

each guest was asked to sign the bat on their table as a keepsake for Con and Amelia.

Me with my best girl Mollie and best boy Jackson

who were excellent all day, along with the other bridesmaids.  I am pleased to report that the heels were surprisingly comfortable!!

Thank you for your visit. See you soon x

Thinking of You/Sympathy/Get Well at Allsorts

Hello everyone. Gail is hosting over at Allsorts and has chosen the optional theme of

Thinking of you/Sympathy/Get Well (anything Goes also most welcome too)

Here is my take on the theme...

I used my Concord & 9th Beautiful Branches stamp set. I was a bit dubious about using white ink on Kraft card but amazingly it worked. It's rare that I use elements from one stamp set but on this occasion it was a perfect combination.

Prizes from

Highlight Crafts three die sets plus reflections and paper

There's much excitement today  chez Wills as we are getting our glad rags on and celebrating the marriage of our youngest Son, Connor, to Amelia. Mollie is one of six bridesmaids and Jackson is being a page boy (he says he is going to be a good boy not a page boy!!). It's been a long time since we have attended a wedding so are very much looking forward to the day. I am even wearing heels!!

I'll see you when I do with some pics!! xx

Halloween Colours at AYLI

 Hello all.

Its time for our new challenge at

We would love to see your Favourite Halloween Colours ( and remember to tell us why)

We have never done Halloween in our house, not even when the boys were small, it really wasn't a big thing back then!! Our Grandchildren, however, are full of it. How things change in a generation.

Anyway, I have made an October notebook and decorated it with halloween inspired coloured buttons.

I cut and stapled some lined paper from an old exercise book and made a tent fold cover for it. Drew a circle on a slime coloured piece of cardstock and then had a lovely time rifling through my buttons. I did think about threading them (for about a second!) and then decided to use a thin Posca pen to draw thread, a much quicker and quite effective result, I thought! As luck should have it I found a set of magazine freebie stamps that are suited to calendars and journals. They were perfect for this project, if a little squidgy!

That's all for today. I shall see you again on Saturday.
Until then, take care x

Trees and Leaves at We Love Stamping

Emma has chosen our October theme at

We Love Stamping and it's

Trees and Leaves (Anything Goes always welcome too).

I am still going great guns with my Christmas makes and started off by water colouring the background with Twinkling H2Os. Then heat embossed Christmas Joy with twinkly embossing powder.

Added some Chloes sparkle and mounted on a postage stamp die cut mat. The Seasons Greeting is from an LOTV clear stamp set. I made half a dozen of these so I'm back in the game!!

2 prizes, $30 store voucher from Taylored Expressions and Penny Black stamp set and stencil from Buddly Crafts (photo's not to scale).

Thank you for visiting. See you soon xx

All Creatures Great and Small at Allsorts

Hello friends. The new challenge starts at Allsorts today and the optional theme is

All Creatures Great and Small (Anything Goes also welcome)

which is very handy as I am still in Christmas mode as I am so behind with my makes.

I made tags using an old and unused die set from Impression Obsession. The dies that I used to cut the animals was a charity shop find so, I'm afraid, I don't know the brand. First I inked the snow, then masked off to stamp the Christmas trees, stuck on the animals and then got splattering with a Posca pen. I think I was a little bit over enthusiastic as they really are mega snowflakes!!

2 prizes of stamps, stickers and scenescapes from Lavinia Stamps (photos not to scale) Please note, we (Lavinia) cannot provide exchanges/replacements/refunds for any products received through this third-party giveaway.

Thank you for dropping in and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

See you soon x
