Allsorts I Spy B

It's all about B at Allsorts this time and I have gone with buzzy bees!!

I made an arch shaped card using a Daisy Mae nested die set (that I cannot find a link for). The bees and hive are courtesy of a little used My Favorite Things set called Meant to bee that I coloured with Promarkers. The little buzzy bees themselves are layered and I gave them a little sprinkle of glamour dust too. The spotty paper was in my bits and pieces basket but I've a feeling it was from a First Edition pad. I went "all out" with this one and added layers to the inside too but forgot to photgraph it before posting!! It's the heat!!

2 prizes of coordinating stamps and dies

It's been relatively quiet Chez Wills, the fields are brown and the pony shouts at me regularly throughout the day asking for carrots, apples and a hay top up as he has no grass!! I am sure Mother Nature will provide some rain at some point and when she does, won't be able to stop it!!

Thankyou for your time and I'll see you again soon xx

Favourite Food

We are feeling a little bit peckish at

where we would love you to share a project inspired by your favourite food.

I am a real fan of lemon, if it's on the menu with a piece of fish, in a sauce or in a dessert or cake then I am going to choose it!! I am even partial to it in a G&T...funny that!!
No better stamp to use than this lovely little mouse  from the Penny Black Homemade set.

I used this Mixed Up Craft tutorial for the impossible card base and, as it was little bit floppy without, added the connecting panels on the front and back for stability. I had used 300gsm card but I think the cutting and folding just weakened the base a little. The image was coloured with my Promarkers and I bravely cut into a piece of Maja Design paper to decorate the base. I bought the Daisy Mae arch die set a while back and, I think, this is the first airing. They are a really great size so I think will probably make a rather nice card base at Christmas.

I hope I have given you some inspiration to join us and once again thank you for continuing to visit and leave such encouraging comments. In a world where it's easier to "like" I much appreciate your time. Oh yes, on the theme of commenting hasn't blogger been a devil of late?! Darnell has shared a "how to" if you are struggling. I have done a bit of housekeeping and hope that my comments are now reaching you all!!

Take Care xx
