All Things New at We Love Stamping

Hello everyone, yes it's me again and I have HUGE news to share.

I was delighted to be invited to join the wonderful team at

WE LOVE STAMPING

so this is my debut DT project and I am sharing inspiration for our January Challenge

All Things New, chosen by Mervi

Here's what I made...a new baby card

I had a little tidy up back in December and found a box of Lili of the valley grey rubber stamps so she was perfect for my card. Keeping with the theme of older stash I used an old My Minds Eye paper pad called...and used Promarkers to colour the adorable image in shades to match. I even added some old cheesecloth and lace, some twine and a favourite stamp/die combo from Mama Elephant for the dinky tag.

We have two prizes of Tonic Verso dies (ones received may differ from the photo below) and a $20 Whimsy gift card for entrants Worldwide.

I am looking forward to my journey ahead with this talented team and taking inspiration from them all to use my rubber stamps.

See you soon

Anything Goes

It's the 800th Challenge at Allsorts this week so it's a free for all with Anything Goes!!

I made a new baby card for a change. Once again I dipped into my stamp arsenal and found a lovely Hunkydory stamp set that I used to make this,

I stamped the boots on different coloured dotty paper, added a little bit of shade and cut them out. The sentiment is part of the set too. So effective yet really quick and simple.

Prizes from  AALL and Create.

See you soon xx

Welcome to the World

Storm Christoph is doing it's thing, it is pouring with rain and blowing a gale so what better time to sit down and do a bit of blogging and share a new baby card!!

My friend's Daughter and her Husband have just had a new baby so I made this to celebrate the safe arrival of Everly.

I used my Tonic circle die set to cut the base and mat from Centura Pearl. The paper is from an old Forever Friends Easter pad and I coloured the adorable baby with my Promarkers to match. I used Memory Box Alphabet dies for her name too.

It is incredibly wet and windy here and I am keeping a close eye on the barn roof!! It should stay put as Martin went up there last summer and replaced the old fixings...so fingers crossed!!

I hope you are all doing okay, wherever you are.

Stay Safe xx

Welcome

Hello crafty friends, hope last week was a good one for you. Everything has fallen back into routine here...except for the rubbish men!! I even managed some crafty time, so that can't be bad.

One of my horsey pals has just become a Grandma again so I made this card for her new Grandson, Albert.

Please forgive the dull photograph, the weather has not been kind to the camera and my daylight lamp has gone missing (in the attic I suspect with the Christmas trimmings...ooops!!).
I stippled the grass and sky with an old stencil brush that I found and it looks so much better in the flesh, so to speak...I hope you get the gist!! The sweet bunny and lamb were coloured with Promarkers and the pretty plaid paper is from  MFT .

Hope you have a good weekend. See you Monday with a bit of cuteness xx

AYLI Boy or Girl?

Hello everyone. An easy peasy theme at

Boy or Girl?

I can't lie...cards of the male flavour scare me!! Cards for girls are so much easier with such  cute images, girly characters, flowers, papers and ribbons  at our disposal  which is why I have a baby girl card to share today.

I used a super cute digi from Di's Digis and coloured it with Promarkers to make this cute card.

I hope to see you there.

Looking forward to a proper bloggy catch up this weekend and possibly some crafty time too. It has been full on in the Wills household of late and time for myself has been in short supply...never mind!!

See you soon xx

Fancy Folds

Hello everyone I hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed some sunshine. Anyway, Monday again but fear not this is a good one as we have a new challenge at

This month we are challenging you to let loose and make a card using  Fancy Folds!!

I took a traditional approach here and made an easel card

We were able to choose images from Meljen's Designs who together with Stamp and Create are sponsoring this challenge. I just couldn't resist this totally cute  Little baby dragon who got the SN alcohol pen treatment (for a change). The papers were a fabulous magazine freebie from LOTV.

The sentiment was typed using Blackjack font and reads
"Thrilled to hear you wonderful news!!"
which I thought could either be for a pregnancy announcement or indeed for the arrival.

Don't forget you have three weeks in which to enter our challenges now, so plenty of time to dig out your cutest images (rubber, digi, even coloured or decoupage, we don't mind) and come and play.

White on White

Happy Monday friends and I hope you are well and raring to go.

I am here today with my DT card for a new challenge over at

The Cutie Pie Challenge and its White on White
(As cute as can be though!!)

Now then, I am not of a nervous disposition but this theme really knocked the wind out of my sails but being the stoic girl that I am I dug deep and came up with this...

I had Bobbi printed out ready to go, so coloured him up with Promarkers, cut him out with my new SB oval set and used a fine liner to join the dots for the faux stitching. I made the card base using my new SB Couture Spring Orchard set and also embossed for some interest. Out came the cheesecloth and flowers that do incidentally look quite white in real life. I was tempted to whiten them up a bit more with white acrylic paint but then remembered when I had seen the effect using gesso it reminded me of bird poo, so used a tickle of star dust stickles instead!! (I apologise if I have offended any crafty peeps who do use white paint/gesso accents!!). The banner stamp set and associated die was a pre Christmas  buy from Craft Mojo  and the sheer spotted ribbon from my stash.

Loads of you out there do such a great job of the WOW style so we'd love you to join in this month.
