CAS Christmas

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying day one of the August Bank Holiday Weekend if you are here in the UK.  I have another Christmas card to share today featuring a cute Crafter's Companion stamp.

It was really quick to colour and the Memory Box die took care of the sentiment...simples!!

I was inspired by these challenges

ABC Christmas Challenge - Q for Quick and Easy
Penny's paper crafty challenge #191 - Christmas, Children or Critters (2nd entry)
CHNC #191 - Merry and Bright

Before I go and get the pony in for the night I just want to share a picture of a house guest that I caught creeping out of her door on Wednesday morning!!

They must like her company because we had a visitor of the same variety last year. On that occasion I was scared witless as I went to pick up what I thought was a stray piece of horse poo (wearing appropriate gloves of course!!) and it tried to get out of my hand....eugh!!

Anyway on that note I'm off to do yard duties. Toodles for now xx

Oh this is lovely Sarah! i never think to use that die at the top of a card - it looks great and so good with the adorable image :)

Not so sure about ole 'Hoppy' there but I bet if the Snippets Playground girlies realise you've got a pony they'll come dashing over to play! :)

Hugs, Di xx

I have that die and have only used it at the bottom of a card, it looks fab to include an image there too. I'll have to log that idea! :0)
I think I would have run a mile seeing the visitor. Mind you, when we kept chickens they found one in the bushes and ate it. Olive, one of our first batch, was running around the garden being chased by the others with its legs hanging out of her beak! Yuk.. I didn't eat the eggs for that week.!

I'm always on the look out for Christmas cards that are easy to post Sarah and this is a fab example. That die is not one I've come across and I love the way you have used it. I think your tiny visitor will be very offended that you thought he was a stray piece of horse poo!!!! Perhaps he deserves a kiss and you might get a surprise!
Have a great weekend.
Hugs

Great idea to include the image on the bottom half of the die cut sentiment.
Gosh I bet you got a shock when you went to pick it up Sarah. I remember being in Scotland around the beginning of September and the lane from the beach to our cottage was covered in the things! Talk about hopscotch! x

Hi Sarah,
beautiful card.
You could batch make this quite easily.
Now to your quest you caught sneaking out.
We live near a lake at the back of our bungalow, and if we are not careful we could have such a guest visit us.
One time a rat tried to visit us, so we don't leave the door open now, and have had to stop feeding the birds as this also attracted the rats.
Bit we see lots and lots of Dragon Flies.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Love the way you've used this great MB die. That's such a sweet image and colored with your usual skills. Love the way you left the diecut long enough to stamp your cuties. This would make a terrific assembly line card. Had a chuckle at your visitor and can just picture you picking up the debris and finding it moving in your glove! UGH! Maybe the pony's room is nice & cozy & invites this kind of visitor. Happy week ahead and TFS. Hugs
