Conkers...

I used to love playing conkers as a girl and enjoyed many a Sunday afternoon out with Dad, Mum and my Sister looking for the best trees. Martin and I did the same with our Boys too.

So, after my trip down memory, my card!!

I couldn't resist adding to my digi image collection with the appropriately named Conkers . She was coloured with Pro/Flexmarkers to match the gorgeous Raspberry Road papers.

The brilliant sketch is from the current Creative Inspirations Challenge

The flowers and hessian are from my stash.

I am also playing along at these challenges

I Love Promarkers #240 - Autumn Colours
Craft Your Passion #234 - Add some fabric (hessian)

Thanks for visiting me today, a busy weekend ahead so, if not before, I shall see you on Monday.
Have a good weekend, when you get there!!  xx

Gorgeous papers, Sarah, beautifully layered! Love that image! I remember playing conkers at school and sometimes with my brothers, but they used to cheat and put them in the oven to harden first! Hmmm!
Have a lovely weekend! xx

So beautiful Sarah. I love your colours, layers and details. I think the sketch is really great too! Yes I remember hunting for and playing with conkers too lol. We also take Brandon looking for them now but when he gets home he tends to leave them all over the place.
Did you hear that placing conkers in the corners of a room keeps spiders away. I have only just recently heard about that. I wonder if it works? lol - Michelle x

Ah yes...them good ol' days. And it was quite a competitive sport in our family! LOL. Your image really is lovely, Sarah. I'm sure there's a conker app for kids these days. They don't know what they're missing!
