What's Your Favourite Fibre?...

...that's what we'd like you to share with us at

and we don't mean breakfast cereal either!! We'd love to see your projects with  ribbon, lace, twine, binding, those sorts of fibres and don't forget to tell us why.

Here's a card with my favourite...ribbon

There is nothing nicer than a lovely bow to finish off a card, although I should practice what I preach in order to reduce my rather extortionate ribbon collection.....

...and....that doesn't include my rather impressive collection of seam binding either!!

Anyway, confession over...I used stamps from two different Woodware sets on this card, Little Christmas bird and Sprig of holly which was stamped onto linen card and then coloured with SN pencils. The berries had a liberal squirt of glossy accents too.

I'm playing here

I think my favourite has to be Hessian. If I get the chance to come and play, that's probably what you'll see. x

This is impressive with that huge gingham bow. It's just perfect against the green holly and those sparkling berries. A wonderful way to use the shiny glossy accents. Love it! TFS & Hugs

Apols to be so very late arriving to thank you for joining in at Penny Black and More challenge Sarah.

That ribbon photo is a touch of deja vous, I had to buy a basket drawer set to keep mine in in the end - no I will re-phrase that hubby came back with it from Dunelm one day as he was so fed up with the conservatory being full of ribbon and me trying to sort them.

Have a good weekend.

I agree... a bow is the perfect finish. A beautifully coloured image helps too. You've ticked both boxes, my friend!
