Favourite Embossing Folder

Hello you lovely people and I hope the week has been good to you.

There's a new challenge at As You Like It today and we have dusted off our favourite embossing folders.

My first die cutting machine was my Cuttlebug which came with dies and embossing folders and Swiss Dots was one of them. It has always been a firm favourite as it is so versatile and can be used on any type of card or project to add a bit of interest...as in this case!!

I used a sweet Bildmalarna stamp and coloured the tulip to coordinate with the spotty ribbon and coloured card. The sentiment is from LOTV.

I hope you stayed safe in the storms last night, I had a most terrifying night :0( The curses of living half way up a hill. After decamping to the guest room I think I managed a total or 2 hours sleep. Still all is well this morning and the stables and barns survived the night!! Looks like we are in for heavy snow next week....oh joy!!

Anyway less of the weather report...oops, got sidetracked a bit there!! Hope you will find time to bring along your embossing folders we always have a great sponsor and this time is no exception as it's

I am entering these challenges if I may...

Crafty Catz #261 - Polka dots
(delete me if my EF is not appropriate)
Creative Fingers #62 - Anything Goes
Crafty Cardmakers #130 - Old and New
(old EF and new sentiment stamp set)
Passion for Promarkers #279 - Teddy Bears
Crafters Cafe #99 - KISS( keep it simple stamper)

Thanks for your continued support and lovely comments, you make it all worthwhile!! xx

Hi Sarah, I love your adorable card. It's so sweet. Very nice that buckle on your ribbon too. It's very stormy weather overhere aswell and in minute I have to drive to the dentist. Hope I won't be blown away.

Swiss dots remains one of my favourites as well Sarah, just wish they would do a larger version of it as well.

Love the clean crisp look of your card today.

Gorgeous! And it definitely is the most versatile of embossing folders... The first I bought.
We live at the top of a hill! The storms didn't seem as bad here, but we did lose a couple of trees on our street! x

Love this embossed card Sarah. Well you know me and embossing folders!
Sorry to hear you didn't get much sleep with the storm. I was suprized that we didn't have a blustrier journey over the M62 last night or through night. Dry and still first thing but it's just started to rain. :)

This is so gorgeous Sarah. I love everything about it - I love embossed dots especially. Im glad there was no damage from the storm and I hope you get more sleep tonight. I thought I recognised the Maggie stamp from way back in 2008. They are cute. Can't wait to see some more of your accidental buys lol - Michelle x

Sarah, a beautiful CAS card, love that EB folder. Glad you haven't had any damage, but not good about the lack of sleep, we sleep upstairs in what is the roof space of the cottages and the slates rattling does my head in, so I had to clear the spare bed of crafty stuff so I could get into the bed. Stay safe. Hazel x
