Buffy Bunny

Hello and welcome to everyone and I hope you are well.

I seem to be favouring animal images lately so here is another one!!
I broke with tradition on this card though as I usually choose my image first, then papers and colour the image to match. However this time I made the base first, just because I couldn't wait to cut the beautiful paper that I had to have in my (massive) collection. The base and mats were die cut using my   Go Kreate Frilly #10. The darling bunny is Buffy and was coloured with Promarkers to compliment the pretty papers and then cut out using my fabby new die Memory Box die set

The finishing touch was a matching coloured button and a tiny strand of twine that was lurking in my bits and pieces box...perfect!!

I am playing at these challenges

Crafting for all seasons #96 - Dies and/or punches
Inky Impressions #197 - Cute and Cuddly
Creative Inspirations #301 - Buttons
Crafting from the heart #47 - Anything Goes
Dream Valley #100 - Fave colour combo

WARNING  Scary photo alert!!

The lovely Sue ( Olliesmam) shared a fabulous crochet hat a while back and kindly sent me the pattern. I promised to show my effort so here it is and don't say I didn't warn you!!

Ok you can stop laughing now!! Looks like the weather's on the change though so I'll have to save it for next winter!!

Thanks for your company xx

Sarah such a lovely lovely photo....love your beautiful smile and the hat suits you, I would be the scary one as hats on me make my grandies laugh....to the extent they say 'nannie you look silly' so this girl wont' wear hats.

Oh you silly goose! Nothing scary about that picture. You look quite fetching in that bonnet, madam! Serious, it suits you. You have a hat face. You want to see scary, wait till I crochet one and plonk it my head. That'll give you nightmares for decades!

Hi Sarah,
I love that shape card, and your fab image, and paper used.
Lovely and bright and cheerful too.
A great spirit lifter, as it's been very drab in my part of Kent today.
Love your cool hat.
Not so sure about the model though. lol.
Honestly it looks really lovely, and I like the colour wool you have used.
I made myself a knitted hat in pink at least 9 years ago, when all that fluffy wool was about.
Now when I wear it I feel like I'm walking around in a swimming cap, but it is extremely warn.
My daughter refuses to go out with me when I wear it, so I have to put on another one.
Will send you a picture of it in an email.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
