Even more pinkness...

Happy Weekend Friends. Hope you have had a good week and that you will enjoy your weekend. Before I get the hoover out and then attack the lawn (with the lawnmower NOT the hoover you understand!!)  I have more pink gorgeousness to share and although I followed an sketch and it's fairly plain it took an age to make...why is that?

The Hand Stitched stamp set was another "oops I hit the add to basket button" when I was actually looking for a completely different stamp and die set. Once it arrived I took it out of the packet and then put it back again several times as I wasn't sure what to do with it.  However, inspiration came from Make The Day Special's August Challenge which is this sketch

The papers are more oldies from MME and I glittered the top of the embroidery ring for a bit of snaz!!

Here are more challenges I am entering

Crafty Cats #289 - Flowers
Allsorts #325 - Roses
Penny Black and More - summer Flowers

Thank you for your lovely comments on my shell card, and yes Lucy you did indeed supply the inspiration for the rope frame xx

Hi Sarah,

Just a quick visit to say hi as I do a mega catch up with my fav blogs after hols, lovely work as always, the linen card gives a lovely feel of elegance. All perfect for our theme at Penny Black and More, many thanks for joining in (it's a rose theme at Allsorts as well).

You did a great job her Sarah, the stitching elements work so well together.
No sure if I will get out with the mower today but the grass is really long and needs trim. However the weather is conspiring against it, waited all yesterday for it to dry out only for it to rain AGAIN! Al's let the sheep in the field now so it will be a two man job if it gets done today at all.
Have a good weekend. :)

Sarah, this was a serendipitous buy, as this is a lovely look on this stamp. The handstitching looks wonderful against the linen texture of the white paper. Lovely coloring too. Very pretty design layout, and I'd say you'd done marvelously with the sketch. Hope the lawn got mowed properly, and you have today to enjoy with your Surprise. Wish we were at Buckham Fair, but I read that the weather was not going to be so nice! TFS & Hugs.
