Rodney the Reindeer

Evening crafty peeps, I hope you have had a good day. I started off with a ride in the early morning sunshine and spotted bluebells bursting out along the way. The verges and hedgerows are markedly greener than the weekend and the lawn needed mowing again today. I do believe that spring is finally making an appearance.

On that note...I have a Christmas card to share!!

Let me introduce Rodney. I bought him, together with Derrick the fox a while back, put them away (as you do) and forgot all about them until I saw the latest challenge theme at ABC Christmas.

He was coloured with my Promarkers to match the Studiolight paper pad. The snow was stickled but for the background I had a dig around and found my little Twinkling H2o pots and used one of those for the snowy sky. I had forgotten how fabulous they look and will be definitely using them more often in future. the Little sentiment came from an Inkylicious set.

I am joining in here

A Snowflake's Promise #20 - Anything Goes

I have a fancy for something cheesy so think I might go and knock up some cheese scones.

Whatever you are eating have a good evening!! xx

It certainly is greening up Sarah and the paddocks are looking good, albeit saturated after nearly 24 hours of rain.

I do like those Nordic papers which compliment Rodney's hat a treat.

Fabulous card Sarah - Rodney is adorable!! Love the snowy sky and gorgeous colour combo.
It is definitely all looking far more 'lush' in my part of the world too - makes the daily walk along the canal path far more interesting.
Have a great day.

Rodney is just darling, and I'm so happy you remembered where he was hiding. I thought 'viking' when I first glimpsed him, and he's handsome in his Nordic costume too. Loving that wood background with all the soft reds & blues. How clever to have the banner colors replicate the look of Rodney's outfit too. Your cheesy scones sound yummy. I think I'm hungry now, and pizza will not be nearly as tasty as cheese scones. Have a great week, and glad you had a nice ride in the Spring sunshine. Bet Surprise enjoyed it too! TFS & Hugs
