All about the Pink!!

Hello bloggers. Another Bank Holiday over and it's back to work, today and Thursday for me this week, which is sure to confuse me but I shouldn't complain!!

So, I have had the luxury of a quiet house since Sunday and managed to get quite a few cards made for challenges that grabbed my attention. I have also been trying out tent style cards with NO bulk at all. I was shocked to discover last week that 12 First Class stamps cost me nearly eight quid!! Yikes!!

These sweet hedgies are from a T for Transparent Penny Black set called Wonderful. Coloured with Promarkers to match the complimentary cardstock and papers by Doodlebug

I am supporting these challenges

In the Pink #95 - 1, sentiment, 2 hedgehogs, 3 layers
Paper Creator's Crafts #47 - Anything Goes

Right, better go and get ready, a long day ahead of me 7.45am - 7pm!!

Whatever you are doing I hope it's a good day xx

Delightful card Sarah! I love these Penny Black hedgies which you've coloured so perfectly. I'm shocked! I didn't realise stamps cost that much. My hubby does the shopping for things like that so I haven't bought any stamps for ages. I'll definitely be making flatter cards :). Debra x

Good Morning Sarah....eeek, that's some shift you've got there today!!! I decided to book a couple of days off this week to do a bit of work in my Mum's garden and also clear out and tidy the shed, so it goes without saying that I woke to it piddling down this morning so can't see me getting either jobs done today....grrrr!

Anyhoo......this card is gorgeous, and the cute hedgies and pink dotty paper are adorable. I do think that the rising costs in postage are making many of us create flatter cards xx

Oh I echo the sentiment about the flippin' stamps, I nearly hit the deck in WHS when I last bought some. OK, now, are you sitting back from your screen because I am about to SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALL! Oh this is so super cute and gorgeous, perfect CAS design, lovely colours and papers. LOVE IT! Hugs xx PS. Thanks for playing along at ITP this time!

Love all the gorgeous pink and those hedgies. I agree about the postage being expensive, but then on the other side, it does amaze me that I can put something in a box at the end of my road at 5.30pm and it can be hand delivered to a friend the other side of the country by the time they get up the next morning for less than £1.
