Spring flowers

Hello friends, hope you are all well and if not then I hope there are better days ahead.
This week has gone in the blink of an eye so as things are quiet here I thought I would take some time to sit and have a little mooch to see what I have missed.

This is the card I made for my Auntie San's Birthday. I was inspired by a lovely card that Jools shared here and set about doing something similar using colourful springtime papers.

I have a feeling that the papers were, in fact, by LOTV and free with a crafting magazine. I made good use of my circle dies for this card together with some pretty die cut flowers and foliage too.

I am entering these challenges

Noor UK #18 - Spring flowers
Craft Your Passion #311 - Anything Goes

Before I go I just want to share a bit of Dorset with you. Last weekend we had a trip to Weymouth for a bit of sea air and, of course, Fish and Chips!! We took a detour on the way back so that Martin could show me the woods that he drives past in his tractor every day  to show me this...

...wow!!

We have little copses locally that I ride by regularly that are gorgeous but this really was breathtaking and the smell was glorious and probably so untouched as it isn't visible by car.

While the going is good I'm going to have a play with some new goodies that dropped through the letterbox this week.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend xx

I always love a circle card Sarah and when there are flowers involved even more so, it's certainly very fresh and pretty.

The Bluebells have been lovely this year, we've has some beauties around these parts. Yes grass growing, hubby spent today top dressing ours so it should shoot up nicely with the damp nights.

Very pretty Sarah, I must think other than A6 card shape!
Al working on the next raised bed and Max hunting small furry creatures in the log shed! I'm just about to get on with tea after a cracking day if a little chilly in the breeze. :)

Oh I do love this bright & happy card. The scallop edges, the perky cheery flowers and the blue & white together! Just the thing for a birthday card. Certainly enjoyed the lovely blue flowers in the meadow too. Can just imagine the wonderful scenery in your area, and think of seeing this beauty each day. TFS the scenery and the pretty card. Happy Wkend. Hugs

Hi Sarah - what a lovely blog post - I have really enjoyed reading this and looking at your gorgeous photos. We live near a beautiful bluebell wood too - on our dog walk - but I was never organised enough this year to take my camera!
Anyways, your card is beautiful too. I am very partial to circular cards and your's is truly beautiful. Wonderful papers and very pretty embellishments - I love it.

Such a pretty card Sarah, love the papers and design. Loved your bluebell photo, have a large print in my sitting room of the Bluebell Carpet, was always mesmerised by it as a child hanging in a dear old ladies house we visited often. I was so chuffed it came to me. Carol xx
