Reading Time

Hello blogging buddies. I am having a bit of a "double up" today as my little gift bag was created for

the new  Favourite Die challenge at

and to showcase another of the wonderful images at Sasayaki Glitter.

I made a little gift bag by scoring an A4 piece of backing paper. The sweet little image is
"Reading Time" and she was coloured using Promarkers.

My all time favourite dies have to be my Spellbinders Large Circles which, I have recently found, work perfectly with my NEW favourites from MFT Stiched Circle Scallop Frames. Circles appeal to my love of symmetry which is why so many of my cards feature the image in a circle.

So, go on, join in you all have a favourite die or dies, just remember to tell us why it is your favourite!!

Some challenges

Crafting From The Heart #116 - Anything Goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #282 - Anything Goes
Passion For Promarkers #350 - Food and Drink (A lovely mug of coffee)
The Ribbon Girls June challenge - Anything Goes

Before I go I just want to share a photograph with you. If you are not familiar with Pamellia's blog you need not suffer me rambling on any longer!! For those of you that do, you will know that she always shares some amazing photography and ends with a token morning coffee/after dinner shot. Well here is my morning coffee shot from earlier in the week while I was waiting for a friend to arrive so we could ride together. While I took Suzy home, after she "helped" me muck out, I had enough time to make a coffee and took it back down to the stables with me.

Mo the yard squatter helping herself to a bit of a cuddle!!

The best "selfie" I could get of Surprise and I, although I have to say she is far more photogenic than me and I actually got her "good" side!! Please don't call the RSPCA she really isn't a miniature horse, nor am I a giant!!

So there you are Pamellia, not quite to your standard but a rather good shot of the coffee cup don't you think!?? And it contains some wildlife...and I don't mean me!!

Have a good day everyone xx

This is really cute and I love the image, probably because I also love to sit with a book and a coffee, when I'm not crafting! I agree that circle dies are just so useful and I love the look of images on circles, especially when framed like you have done here with that sweet scalloped circle :-)

I really enjoyed your photos, what a great idea and fab pics...love the selfie :-) I also had to go and take a peek at Pamellia's photos...wow!

Have a lovely weekend :-)

Big hugs, Kat xx

What a fun post Sarah! I love the hat tip to Pamellia's awesome wildlife and morning coffee shots. It always looks so idyllic! I've admired your gorgeous views before too. You're both lucky ladies. I've yet to find our own wee space back here in NZ, still in rentals, and not what you'd call 'living the dream'! Fab shots hun and yep, I did wonder if the horsey was a miniature until you said otherwise! LOL. Very cool forced perspective shot! :) Right, now onto your gorgeous gift bag. Love the image with her wee glossy glasses, and the paper is fab, but what I've got my eye on the most is that fabby inverted scallop frame! You know you've got me wanting to spend money now! LOL. Def' one for the wishlist. Have an awesome day hun. Hugs, Wends xoxo
