Spooky Sasayaki!!

Happy Saturday everyone or rather what's left of it!! I am a little later than planned as today our youngest chick has fledged and left the nest, so I am feeling sad and thrilled for Connor and Laura in equal measure. Thank goodness for my four legged friends and Hubby of course!!

Anyway you aren't here to indulge my blathering so here is my project a cute Halloween goody bag.

The image is one of the new releases at Sasayaki Glitter. I coloured this spooky little family with Promarkers to match the papers, as usual.

A close up to show the cute characters. Sorry about the photograph I took it late in the day!!

Anyway, I had better go and get the feather duster out, I have another empty room to dust!! I've just had a lightbulb moment...it can house my work room overflow...now there's an idea!!

Thank you ever so much for your visit, it's always appreciated.

See you soon xx

Hi Sarah (aww I'm sorry - I keep telling myself that the general idea is that our children are supposed to leave home but it is still too sad)! I love this gift bag. That image is wonderful and your colouring is gorgeous - a perfect match for your stripey bag.

This is brilliant! and I love that paper too.

Is it bad that I'm counting the days until my eldest moves out (she's about to turn 17), so I'll finally have a craft room? lol. x

Super treat bag Sarah and a great Halloween image. Hope Connor gets on ok, is he in halls and where/what is he studying! Like you, I went to town cleaning when Alan moved out...and he was devastated when he next came home, he wanted his room clutter included all to stay, so don't be too hasty with the changes! Huge hug, you'll be missing him already, Jx

While your son left this week, i've been looking at a secondary school for Harrison today, if you are feeling too low, go cuddle the puppies, luv Sam x

Good luck to Connor and his girlfriend Sarah and I hope you will be OK. I know it's sad and I'm dreading the day I have an empty nest, even though it's a while off. I love this treat bag. I make a halloween treat bag each year for my son and I think I shall be investing in this image - it's fab! Great job! Michelle x

Fantastic Halloween goodie bag! Your wonderful colouring of the great monsters matches the colours of the papers perfectly. I love the ribbons and speech bubble you've added.
Our sons rooms still have all their clutter as they won't let us throw anything of theirs away in case they need them, they seriously still need their Horrible History books?! :D. Debra x

So cute with the image and using it to decorate the spooky Halloween bag. Great coloring, as always! It's hard at first with the empty nest, but we all survive. Good for you at cheering yourself with the planning for your make-over bedroom into a craft room. I'm sure your chicks will return frequently, (and you'll have to say- room not available now!) Take care, keep busy, and hug hubby. (I don't think the shot caused DH's problem either. I think he caught it from someone, just as we got the shots. But you can't convince him of that). TFS & Hugs

Hi Sarah,
what a gorgeous design spooky bag.
The image of those spooky monsters is ace, and coloured so perfectly.
Love the paper or card that you have used.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I could do with an empty room for my over load too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Ahhh .. .. boo hoo on the empty room Sarah. Never easy is it .. .. no matter how happy you are for them.

I still miss mine being around .. .. but on the good side did gain lots of space for my crafty pursuits. Our attic is still full of stuff they can't part with though .. .. even though one has a roof space of his own now!!! Must start farming some of it out!

Loving your spooky creation. The colours are gorgeous and that is a real fun ribbon embellishment.

Love Jules xx
