Happy Thursday everyone, it will soon be the weekend...Yay!! Before that and to give you a a crafty project (should the weather be rubbish!!) it's time for a new challenge at
where the theme is an easy peasy one
share your favourite colouring medium and don't forget to tell us why!!
It will come as no surprise when I tell you that my medium of choice has to be Promarkers. They were my first brand of alcohol markers and although I am dipping my toe into the Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers, I still go back to my Promarkers. I just know which colours blend well and go together, as demonstrated on my DT piece.
I really enjoyed colouring this stamp to match the papers that came from The Range. I used a Tonic punch for the flowers and then used a linen effect embossing folder for texture, an Impression Obsession tag die and (oops) a new Tattered Lace deckle edge die set for the mat that Miss Pussy Cat is sitting on.
Have a good day, whatever you are doing xx

PS lovely dogs
so pretty Sarah - I love the pastel colours. I know how you feel about changing markers. I originally used promarkers, then I used copics for years and then went over to Spectrum Noir - which took a while to remember the colour combos after being so used to copic combos, now I'm also using the illustrators so all change again - it's almost like learning a new language and keep on wanting to use the one you know because it's easier. But persevere, the Illustrators are fab once you get used to the new combinations and blend beautifully (says she who's using pencils at the moment because it seems like the easy option!) hugs Judith xx
Absolutely adorable
A kitty with a pink bow AND pink shoes...what could be cuter?!! Adore this Sarah! The papers and the tiny accent flowers are fab! xxx
Such a cutie Sarah. I love the sweet image, soft tones and beautiful papers. I also started out using Promarkers but found the colour choice very restricted. Hope you progress with your Illustrators as they really are amazing!

I love this card Sarah! That kitten is so cute and your choice of papers and colours is cheery and spring-like. These days, anything I see that remotely reminds me of spring puts me in a good mood. We've had a mild winter here but bring on the green!

Hi Sarah,
another brilliantly designed card, and that stamped image is so sweet, and coloured perfectly too.
I must say I am a big fan of the Promarkers too.
I had a lot of spectrum noir alchol markers and couldn't get on with them so I gave them away to my niece.
As usual I love your wonderful papers used.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Adorable and so gorgeous Sarah.

An adorable kitty and pretty papers. Great colouring too. I have tried a lot of different alcohol pens and I love Copics as no matter how many layers of one colour you put in one place the colour doesn't change and I prefer the brush tip too. A matter of choice. Hugs, Carol S.xx
Gorgeousness!! Beautiful image and design and love the little flowers! It certainly was happy Mail :-)
