Hello crafty friends Hope you are well and looking forward to the weekend. Before that though it's challenge time at
Yes, it really has been two weeks!! This time the theme is
Feathers or Fur?
It has to be fur for me, I love the soft silky fur of our sprollies, the downy fur of Mo the yard cat and the smell of Surprise is intoxicating (strange but true!!). We have had hens in the past and Declan had a sweet budgie called Paddy, who stayed with us when he left home but sadly you can't cuddle a bird!!
Anyway, here is my card featuring a furry fox!!
The image was part of a prize from Just Me and I had a lovely time browsing the images there. Do take a look if you have a spare moment. I coloured him with my Promarkers and used some Doodlebug paper that were perfect in colour. I used a tiny scallop edged die on the black mat under Mr Fox and I was pleased to find a wooden button in the exact same colours of the paper too.
So, I hope I have inspired you to join us with your furry or feathery creations!!
On the subject of fur, thank you to those of you who left such lovely comments about my Surprise. She had her seven weekly visit from my Farrier and as he is the person I trust the most in relation to her legs and feet, I was thrilled when he said that a full recovery is probable as long as I introduce work slowly, so I am back in the saddle at the weekend...yay!! Can't tell you how much I have missed it.
Thank you for dropping in xx

Love your sweet card Sarah. It's definitly fur for mee too (my darling doggies) although I must honestly say that I also do have a bond with my feathered sweet hearts (the chickens) LOL Love all my animals big time!

Sweet card with an autumnal feel. This 'summer' has been a damp squib but Al says the BH weekend will be dry so they may get the hay done with some luck and a following wind. Hopefully we will have an Indian summer!. :)

I so agree with you about feathers and fur, plus this fox is so absolutely darling the way you've colored and presented him. I haven't been around much and am so sorry Surprise was hurting, but so happy she is one the mend! Hugs!
Hi Sarah,
well that's good news about Surprise isn't it.
Wonderful card and your image of the fox is so sweet, and coloured wonderfully.
Your papers always match perfectly with your design card.
Talking about Budgies my Mum and Dad had one years ago, and they would let it out of it's cage to fly around the dining room.
In those days you had polystyrene coving, and he used to chip away at it with his beak, and made a rught mess of it.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
This is just gorgeous, love the image and fab design.xxx
This is totally delightful Sarah. Despite them being so spiteful in their hunting mode I have always had a soft spot for Fox's. They have wreaked havoc more times than I can count over the years and one tried his luck the other afternoon (without success as Eddy spotted him stealthing across the paddock) so figure they are feeding young to be that desperate.
Many thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge.
