Birthday teddy

Hello lovely people. Two posts in a week?.....I know, and it's fab to have your company again!! I have a couple of cute bears to share with you. The first is

I really enjoyed making this card, in fact I am enjoying crafting again, full stop!! I used green for a change and raided my ribbon stash for something a bit different. The spots were perfect as inspiration  for the additional colours.

Here is bear number two. I can't find the link for the pattern unfortunately!!

A friend's daughter has just given birth to a long awaited baby boy, Harrison Jack and I made this comforter for him. I decided to use bright colours that wouldn't show the dirt too much, assuming that one day Harrison will be dragging this around after him!! Declan sucked his thumb when he was small so never had a comfort blanket. Connor, on the other hand, favoured a brushed cotton pillowcase called "moocher" that got smaller and smaller with wear!!

Well, that is me for today. Not sure what is in the pipeline, card wise, so I will see you when I do. Have a lovely weekend when you get there xx

Love the greens on this absolutely darling bear card. The spotted ribbon looks great with the stripe design of the dp, and you just couldn't find a cuter bear either! The bear comforter is a treasure and this new Mom will love it. Looks cuddly and warm too. How talented you are, and glad you are finding time (and motivation) to craft! TFS & Hugs

A gorgeous card, love the soft green and cute bear... adorable comforter too, great colours.

Wish I'd have thought of something like this for Dex - he carries a cuddly elephant around with him (he's nearly 10 and still does this lol) but also sucks his thumb, and developed a habit of wrapping the tail around his thumb and 'twiddling' it... so the tail is now a ragged stump! He now has a second identical elephant with an intact tail, so carries both around but still loves 'real Milo' the best lol :o) Hugs, Lisa x

Such a pretty card and I love the soft green shades.
The blanket is very cute and I admire your knitting skills, which I haven't a clue how to do. My mom tried to teach me and I remember her needles clicking so fast you could hardly see what she was doing but it's something I never caught on to.
