AYLI

Hello folks. I hope you are having a good week and looking forward to the weekend. We are on Annual Leave this week which has been lovely. A visit to see my Mum on Monday, Weymouth on Tuesday, yesterday was our Wedding Anniversary...31 years
( I married very  young!! ) Today we are going wherever the fancy takes us after our 3+ mile morning walk of course!!

Anyway, the reason for my post is to encourage you to join us at

where our theme is Your favourite Christmas colour combination.

Being a traditionalist at heart I tend to favour holly green and berry red or combinations thereof. I used a design sheet from our sponsor, Polkadoodles.

This image came from Winnie's Winterland cd.

I hope you will find time to join us and,  in doing so, add to your pile of festive makes.  I really must get a wriggle on myself,  as my pile is looking decidedly small, despite being a DT member for Christmas with the Cutie Pies!!

Anyway, that is all for now folks. See you soon xx

What a gorgeous cosy scene! I love these sweet Christmas Polkadoodles images. I must pull out mine for a colour up. I'm with you on the traditional Christmas colours. I utterly LOVE crafting with traditional colours for Christmas. I don't mind trying out other colours, but they just don't feel truly Christmassy to me, unless they're in the traditional reds and greens plus a little gold or silver. Your little hearth scene is utterly enchanting! Hugs, Wends xoxo

What a fun Christmas card Sarah and I'm with you about Christmas cards - I have been making them all year but I still need a late push to get them all done. I hope you had a good anniversary. It is very close to ours which is on the 16th November, and we just hit 43 year! I think we deserve long service medals lol.

I'm just sat looking out of my craft room window at the wind and rain and wishing that I was sat in front of that cosy little fire on your card. Great colouring and I love the little stockings hanging above the fire. Many congratulations on your Anniversary......I was married young too ;) Crafty hugs, Sandra x
