Merry Christmas To You

Hello my friends, me again, I am rather enjoying a one day week and with New Year on  Monday it will be a one day week next week too...yay!!

I have a rather grown up card to share today. One of my regular customers likes a more traditional card for his Wife so I had a mooch at Pinterest, as you do, and found plenty using die cuts. So I raided my rather massive stash and came up with this.

Looking at it now...I should perhaps have added more  white foliage for symmetry, but never mind.  I gave my Spellbinders poinsettia dies a rest this year and used a Marianne die set for a change, the embossed detail really came out well on the pearl board.

This card will suit the current Allsorts Challenge, Seasonal Flowers, so I am off to link up there.

I hope you have a good weekend. I am looking forward to Martin being home as he worked last weekend and over Christmas so is due a bit of down time. Nothing special planned so we will just go with the flow!!

See you soon xx

This is lovely Sarah, the pearl card really shows off all the detail in the poinsettia die and the subtle music paper makes a perfect background for it. Enjoy your weekend and Happy New Year!

A lovely traditional card Sarah. I think it looks fine as it is as I'm sure your customer's wife did. Hope you had a good Christmas and have a Happy New Year. :)

A very pretty card Sarah, and should suit the traditional theme. I spend quite a bit of time on Pinterest, but I find, like Pringles, once you start, you can't stop!!! :0)

I should say this is a very grown up card and gorgeous to boot. That poinsettia is gorgeous, I love the detail and the shine. Since the new year is coming to a close, I want you to know I count you as one of my blessings! I so appreciate the wonderful inspiration you provide not to mention your kind visits. I look forward to another year of creating with you. Praying for nothing but the best for you and your family (including the furry ones) in the new year.

Elegant and beautiful Sarah! Love this!! I didn't use a single Poinsettia this year and I love them. Not sure how that happened?! So elegant in that shimmery white. Hope you've had a gorgeous Christmas hun and wishing you wonderful, soul-feeding, fabulous things in 2018. Hugs, Wends xoxo
