January Blues Cutie Pie

I am thrilled to be here today with the first challenge of the year for

The Cutie Pie Challenge

It's a seasonal theme with January Blues. Our sponsor Pink Gem Designs supplied us with an image and I chose Chloe in her cable jumper!!

I "tweaked" one of Jules' latest sketches (thank you for these, I get so much inspiration from you when my own has gone walkabout!!). My cable embossing folder came in handy and I even raided my ribbon stash for a perfectly coordinated bow. I rarely use blue,  but was delighted with the end result and might not shy away from it quite so much in the future!!

There is much excitement today as Mollie Rose is celebrating her first Birthday...yes...one whole year...we can hardly believe it. She stood up unaided yesterday so it's not going to be long before she is walking!! It doesn't seem possible!!

I hope that you have a good week and I will see you soon xx

Great image papers and layout Sarah, love the finishing touches

How beautifully the image coordinates with the embossed circle. Imagine your paddocks are about as sodden as ours, we desperately need some hard frosts to dry it out.

Hi Sarah,
oh what a very lovely card and your design is briilliant love the knitted embossing and your fussy cutting around that super image is excellent.
Well who can believe it's a year since Millie was born.
Were has that year gone too.
Wonderful that she is nearly walking.
May I wish her a very Happy Birthday.
My youngest Granddaughter is 10 on Thurssday, and she walked at 9 months so she seemed to grow up really fast because she missed the craawling stage and went staraight to pulling herself up and then walking.
Now her brother didn't walk till he was 15 months.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Love the 'cable stitching' on the circle that mimics the pretty sweater (jumper!) pattern of this sweet little blue lady. A good sketch too. I need to get some good inspiration myself! Congratulations on the big birthday coming up. Hope you have the house baby proofed as Mollie will be going everywhere pretty soon! What a joy to look forward to with such a sweet little girl about the place. TFS & Hugs
