Pop up box card

Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well. Late in the day for me, I know but I wanted to enter some challenges with my project.

I had been debating "should I or shouldn't I?" for some time about investing in the Lawn Fawn pop up box set and in the end decided that I should!!
So, here is my first attempt.

I used a Craftwork Cards pad for the panels and used a very old floral border die for the blooms which I cut in four spring colours and then snipped and put back together ( I do hope that this satisfies the handmade criteria at Allsorts , if not please feel free to delete me!!). The grass is an icicle die, upside down 😁

This creation made me feel very light hearted and optimistic about the forthcoming spring, in fact it has been glorious here in Dorset today!! I have a feeling the dry weather is here to stay but the temperatures are due to plummet...at least the rain  has stopped, fingers crossed.

That's all for now, see you later in the week xx

Gorgeous box card! Just Love the flowers with the 'grass', great idea to use the icicle die for it. The pretty papers look lovely and isn't the sentiment the perfect size for it? I bought this die too but realised it won't fit in UK envelopes so will have to make my own which I haven't got round too yet. Debra x

...in answer to your question it has been said that my collection of dies is so large it can be seen from space...NASA, however, has denied this claim! I'm saying nothing!! :D

This is impressive...so I'm glad you decided to go for the die! Looks very complicated with all the pieces, and love the papers (you DO have the prettiest of papers!) and I like all the pretty spring flowers jumping up from the inside. Sweet little banner too. Good job! TFS

What a beautiful garden in a box. I can't wait for Spring to arrive, Sarah. I'm so tired of this cold and rain. Weather is not supposed to be like this in Houston, Texas. It's supposed to be mild winters and hot summers - I'm so not a cold person :-) Looking at your lovely card, brings hope that Spring is just around the corner.
Enjoy your day.
Hugs,
Lena
