Happy Birthday

Hello peeps I hope you are are well.

We did finally get our dump of snow ( courtesy of the "Beast from the East" and Storm Emma ) on Thursday. We were sent home from work early so I was able to enjoy a snowy walk with Bowie and Bumble after seeing to Surprise...yay!! Sadly it froze overnight so it wasn't so much fun yesterday...boo!!

My darling Hubby managed to gash his head at work yesterday, not snow/ice related, so spent the morning being x-rayed and glued back together and the afternoon we spent at a different hospital waiting for an injection. Not a pleasant 45 mile round trip!! So, I am going to keep my big trap shut in future and never, ever wish for snow again!!

Anyhow I have a card to share that I made for my Brother-in-law's Birthday. He and my Sister have always had  Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so this image from a magazine CdRom was perfect.

As it was for a fella I kept the design simple.

I have been searching for more Cavalier images for my Sister's soon Birthday but am not having much luck...shout if you know of any...decoupage or images, I don't mind!!

Thank you for your visit today. I am going to make the most of the adverse weather and get some DT cards made.

See you soon xx

Ouch hope he's not too battered. The snow that came Tuesday has gone as has last night's dusting. Thought the wind was dying down but when putting the lambs out in the field it was still biting.
Love the w/c Cav, so cute and the simple design allows it to shine.

A lovely card for your BIL Sarag, but not so goog about hubby. We got the snow as well and the boys loved their half hour out while mucking out, lots of belly rolls and messed up rugs.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Hubbie's mishap Sarah and hope he is now on the mend. Staying in to do some crafting is a great way to wait for the storm to pass and this lovely card certainly makes it worthwhile. I have great trouble with masculine cards but you obviously have the knack! xx

I'm glad that the snow has left us today, we've had a lot of rain and most of the snow has been washed away. I hope hubby feels better soon too.
A beautiful image, I have this CD and recognised it immediately, you have made an adorable card and I'm sure your BIL will love it.

What a lovely image of Cavalier King Charles spaniel. I love the simplicity of the card as the image is so great you don't need anything to detract from it. Wonderful card for your BIL.
Hope your hubby is back to his normal self soon. Doesn't sound like a day you would wish to repeat in a hurry. Debra x

Hi Sarah

Gosh it sounds like you had a really awful time .. .. I hope hubby is OK and that "dumping of snow" has disappeared now. Our final remains got washed away with loads of rain yesterday.

Great card. That image is so lovely!

Love Jules xx

So sorry to hear your DH had a boo-boo, and I'm hoping he's much better now. Enjoyed seeing your smiling face, and hearing about your adventures (aside from the hurtful one!) What a lovely doggie - that must be a great CD & the image printed so nicely. It's a beautiful card with the browns and blacks, and I love the glow around his little eyes and cheeks. Take care. TFS

Trying to do catch up Sarah, not been on the grid to much! Lovely card and hope your hubby is on the road to recovery. My husband had a scaffold pole dropped on his head through a stair-well years ago. No hard hats in them there days. He was so ill for such a long time. They are a worry these men!
