Hello friends. I hope my fellow Brits were able to enjoy the Bank Holiday yesterday. Blessed with dry weather too which doesn't happen that often!! As Monday is a normal working day for me it means that I get a one day working week which is also very pleasing!!
As promised here I am with a card that I put together for a couple of challenges that grabbed me. I have had a little sort through my stash and found a fair few unused items including the stamps I have used today. So my mission is to use or rehome anything that has been gathering dust.
A square card as usual covered with some paper that came from The Range. I used a very old Martha Stewart border punch for some detail and all the stamps used are part of a Craftwork Cards set from here.
The message was heat embossed and I have coloured the smaller handbags and paper pieced the large one and then used glossy accents. Although not cute, I actually like this one!!
Before I go I have a couple of snaps that I took on my early morning walk with the hairy kids. There is the feel of autumn in the air and the blackberries are starting to appear.
See you soon xx

pink, girly paper, a fabulous sentiment and handbags what else could you want in a card, fantastic make Sarah
So true!
True about the autumnal feel also, thick fog here first thing, took until after 10 before it cleared. One hay field cut and baled and half in the hay barn, rain forecast later! 2 fields still to cut though.:)
How right that sentiment is although I'd like to include shoes :) I like the pretty scalloped borders and the trio of handbags. I've seen loads of blackberries and might just take a snap box and go picking to make a crumble x
A gorgeous card and just love the sentiment!! The bags look great and the design is fab. Still very hot up here in East Anglia and not seen any blackberries yet. Hugs, Carol S.xx
A pretty card Sarah, pretty papers and great sentiment - I love the collection of handbags.

So cute, Sarah! I love that sentiment! Your pink motif is especially fun! hugs, de
Gorgeous card Sarah, my friend is an absolute shop-a-holic with an unbelievable stash of handbags so I think I need to get this set for her!
Love this, so ca-ute! Love the pictures too, blackberry season for us was in July. I remember going to my aunts, dressing up in way to much clothing for the temperature and saturating our selves with stuff to keep the bugs (chiggers) from eating us alive. But I have to admit, it was all worth it when eating my mom's homemade jam on toast!
