Little Butterfly Girl

Hello friends, lovely to see you here this Friday morning. It is time for me to share another DT piece for

where the theme is always Anything Goes as long as you share a card with a hand coloured image.

Our sponsor this time is All Dressed Up and I have coloured the pretty Little Butterfly Girl.

I used Promarkers to match the Nitwits paper, some coordinated sequins and sparkly wings finished it off perfectly. I stepped out of my comfort zone with this one as I rarely use shades of purple and lavender, however, I was really pleased and gave myself a pat on the back for being so brave!!

I hope you are all well and coping with the social isolation. I think Mother Nature is being kind to us here in the UK with fine, dry weather at last. I have been on Annual Leave this week (typical!!) and had an "essential" trip to our local Agricultural Merchant for animal feed so that was a change of scenery!!  Other than that I have no idea what day it is and have baked as though my life depends on it. We are going to be a little bit cuddlier, in this household, when we come out the other side!!

That's all for now. Keep well xx

Such a lovely combination of DP and image.
Glad to hear you are staying safe, welcome to my world of the blurred week. If it wasn't for the Radio Times and blog posts I wouldn't know the day either! :)

Beautiful card, Sarah. The image is so cute and the dainty patterned paper makes a lovely background. I've lost track of the days too and have been doing lots of baking - banana and walnut cake today. xx

A very sweet image Sarah and I love that paper too. No baking for me or I would eat too much. I do seem to have been cooking more "proper" meals though with having our daughter here all the time. Usually she's out most of the time so I don't have to bother so much. Take care x

A gorgeous card Sarah and the image is beautifully coloured. Love the colours. We changed our supermarket days from Friday to Tuesday, so it was quieter with less people. It worked but now I am completely lost on which day it is!! But better than being in the queue, that was there this morning. Hugs, Carol S.xx

Hi Sarah

Well done for being brave!

I love your card .. .. and the colours are beautiful.

My Auntie has one of those "contraption things" you were talking about on my blog. We have found it really useful .. .. but there is no way she could have used it on her own. One more visit on Monday and she is hoping to be told on Tuesday that she doesn't need to wear them anymore. Seems weird though that she won't see the consultant .. .. he is just doing a telephone consultations because of the virus.

Hope all is OK with you Sarah.

Love Jules xx

That is such pretty paper, Sarah and I love how you picked out the colours for your sweet image. I know what you mean about losing track of the days.... and all the baking! Thank God for the sunshine though.
Hope you are safe and well.

March was definitely the wrong month for me to invest in some new bathroom scales (just before lockdown). Working at home is dangerous. The fridge/cupboards are too tempting! Love your sweet card and you've used some of my favourite NitWit papers. Beautiful xx
