Raining Cats & Dogs Cutie Pie style

Hello, hello. Hope you are all doing okay. This is such an exciting week for me, and I bet I am not alone ladies...I have an appointment for a haircut on Thursday, long overdue. I have had a little hack at it myself and even had Martin trim the back for me!! I can't wait!! Aside from that we won't be rushing to the shops just yet.

Anyway, it's Raining Cats and Dogs at The Cutie Pie Challenge so I am here to share my cute card and to encourage you to play along.

I had a lovely time going through my rubber stamps and actually found quite a few cats and dogs and eventually decided upon this Crafters Companion cutie.

I am a big fan of Jules' sketches and couldn't wait to try out one of her new rectangle designs here. I used #1 and turned it on its side. Thank you for sharing these!! I wanted an eyecatching colour combo so went with a shocking pink check paper from Your Next Stamp and a navy spot from Bo Bunny. I coloured (with Promarkers) on desert storm kraft card for a change and was really delighted with the outcome. On reflection, I could have gone a bit darker with the grey pussy cat but hey ho!!

Wishing you a happy week. See you soon xx

A super card Sarah, a sweet image - I have this collection hidden away somewhere in my stash, I really must dig them out. I love what you have done with the sketch and your colour choices are fabulous.
I don't think I will be rushing to the pub or the shops either, I have an appointment with my Beauty Therapist on Thursday though, I really do need a manicure and pedicure!

Such a cute image and I love your choice of colours too.
I'll have to wait til the end of April for my trim, its been in the diary for over a month! I too have trimmed my fringe and could really do with getting them out again, don't think I can last another 3 weeks! :)

Hi Sarah,

I've seen several happy campers in blogland who have managed to book a hair appointment. That one won'e be on my list (waist length and easy to trim the tips) but I am sooooo looking forward to having my nails done again, just as soon as that second jab hits my arm.

A pretty colour palette today, the deeper blue looks lovely with the pink gingham.

Lovely card Sarah, such a sweet image and beautiful colours. A haircut sounds great, mine has got so long not having been cut for 14 months, but think I will wait a bit longer. Have a good weekend.
