Happy New Home

Hello all, me again!! While I am not able to get in the saddle or do horsey things I am, however, able to craft and blog so, here is today's offering.

A New Home Card for our youngest and his Girlfriend who have just bought their first home together.

I should just point out that I was NOT drunk when I took this photograph...honestly!! If you tip your head to the right a bit it will look so much better!! The little house is actually Holiday House from Elizabeth Craft Designs and I used coloured cardstock so that it looks a bit like their new home. The strip of flowers is washi tape that came free with a magazine many moons ago, I always knew it would come in useful sometime!! Sound familiar? The sentiment is a collaboration of stamp and dies.

They moved in the weekend before last after a lengthy wait actually, as their offer was accepted way back in early January. It's a new conversion so no chain either, a delay in searches was the excuse. Still, they are in and getting things ship shape. We, on the other hand, have a very quiet house and Bowie and Bumble are eyeing up the now empty room!! We are expecting a massive reduction in our electricity usage though as he'd been working from home !

If you are still with me Thank you, it's always lovely to have visitors.

See you soon xx

Fabulous card Sarah, glad you are still able to craft and hope you'll soon be back in the saddle!
I bet your place will be quiet, we moved and left the youngest behind as he was going nowhere fast!! Mind he has transformed the old homestead since. :)

Clearly I missed a post so just scrolled back, ouch and rest those buttocks Sarah.

A great New Home card, I think solicitors are all the same, Anysia and Sam are going through the very same. Not helped by one seller pulling out the day before contracts.

Many thanks for joining us at Allsorts challenge this week.

I had to go back to see why were not feeling yourself. A tumble is no fun and I feel hurt more and more as you get older. I hope you're feeling lots better. Crafting is definitely an awesome activity when you're slightly under the weather. You card, as always is beautiful! You had me smiling and tilting my head just so I could see the little house from a different angle :-) Love the flowers washi!
We've been dealing with illnesses and falls for the last few weeks. During that time I also had family visiting from overseas, so it's been busy. My little grandson will hopefully get his cast taken off in two weeks. The little guy broke his arm while playing with his buddies. No fun dealing with that while we've all been sick, even too sick to feel like crafting. But I think we are all on the mend now :-)
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Lena

This is a beautiful card, I love the bright colours and bold sentiment too.
Sorry I have been MIA and missed a couple of your posts, I hope your bruises and aches are getting better after your tumble though.

What a lovely 'new home' card for your boyo and his girlfriend. A lovely striking design. Sure to mean so much to them in celebration of their first home! The washi tape is fabulous with it! Hope the purchase went smoothly for them and the move and settling in has gone well too. (Yay for a cheaper electricity bill, but it will feel a bit 'empty' for a time I'm sure.) Hugs, Wends xoxo
