Spring Bringer

Good morning you crafty peeps.
Hope all is well with you this Thursday, if you are under par then I send get well wishes.

We have new challenges starting today at
where we would love you to show us your creations using your favourite colouring medium, and
who would like you to share your "Things with Wings"

I have a girlie card to share with you today featuring Spring Bringer who fits the brief perfectly.
She was coloured with my Promarkers to match the pretty, pretty paper that is new Peach Blossom

Those of you that visit me often will know that I LOVE my PM's. I have tried other alcohol pens and failed miserably as they seem to bleed, are scratchy and generally don't blend as well.

I am joining along at these challenges

Creative Inspirations #256 - Fave colour combo (peach & green is one of them!)
Fussy & Fancy #109 - Birthdays
Totally Papercrafts - Female Birthday
Crafting from the heart #9 - Favourite colours (peach and green)

Have a lovely day everyone and do spare some time to see my fabulous Team mates' creations. xx

So pretty in pastels Sarah. Lovely image and DP. I can't agree with you re the colouring medium. I love my Spectrum Noirs, having tried all of the other, but its a question of personal choice and what suits you. Have a great day.

Yummy, scrummy colour combo, Sarah! Such a beautiful design!
I'm still a bit rubbish with alcohol markers I'm afraid so at the moment I prefer my blendable pencils. It's these little differences that make the world go round!! :) xx

HI Sarah,
what a very lovely creation. The image is adorable, and colured so well. I love that super die cuts behind the image too.
I agree with you about PM. I bought such a lot of Spectrums and couldn't get on with them so I gave £150 worth away to my niece.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Sarah, that is one gorgeous card! Lovely image, the die-cuts are perfect and great colours you've chosen.

I swore by my Pros for years, but for a while now felt that I'd gone as far as I could with them - and tried a little experiment of buying some of all the markers on the market (try saying that when drunk!) and have discovered Copics. I love them!! It's a bit of a learning curve, especially the numbering system - but I don't think I'd part with them now.

Hay Sarah, there was no sneaking in of stash... Hubby had to drive me to Harrogate and back, lol.
But He was aware of the fact that I'd been saving for ages, and other than the occasional restrained trip to LOTV, I've not been buying anything recently, so I think I got away with it! :-) x

Sarah, This is most excellent coloring with your PM's. I have not used those, but love my copics. Have some spectrum noirs, but don't find they blend so well for me, plus the nibs are 'harder'. Guess I've become accustomed to the Copic nib soft brush. This is a delightful image, and love the air-y feel of the matting die. The color combo is perfect for a soft spring image - especially welcome on a rainy, gloomy Sunday afternoon! TFS & Hugs.
