AYLI Pink or Blue

Oh no...I forgot to write my post...my bad!!!

You probably already know that a new challenge has started at

We would love to know whether you favour pink or blue in your card making, and don't forget we would like to know why too!!

I used Princess Snow from our sponsor Kinda Cute.
She was coloured with Promarkers to match the retired LOTV paper.

My favourite is pink, not wishy washy pink though, it has to be bright for me.

Back in the late 80s, when I worked in a Bank, we had a girls  night in and had our "colours" done. I fell into the Winter/Autumn category meaning that stronger colours suit my darker skin and hair tone, and that blue, except for navy should be excluded.  I think that is probably why I am never happy with cards featuring blue!! I still stick to my "colours", thirty years on, and investment pieces bought way back when coordinate nicely with new garments in my wardrobe.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing your favourite...if I am not sacked that is!!
See you soon xx

A really sweet card! Love your colouring of the image especially her dress, a lovely colour blend there. Her crystal ball looks fab. Wonderful colour palette for your card and paper choice, pink definitely seems to agree with you in your card making :). Debra x

Hi Sarah,
what a wonderful card and such a sweet image.
Your colouring is excellent and I wish I could colour hair like that.
Oh how it shines lovely.
Beautiful papers used as usual.
My Son is lucky he lives on a farm like you and has plenty of room and out buildings for their 5 dogs of which 3 are rescue ones, and the 2 they are breeding from.
Just made a wonderful enclosed run for them outside, and is hoping to be registered before long.
He has always loved dogs since my first hubby bought hin a Dalmatian when he was very young.
They used ot have horses and ponies and when the children were young they used to do mounted games but they grew up and didn't want to do it anymore and my DIL back won't let her ride anymore either.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Brilliant card, love it all.
I would choose "both" blue and pink ... I am a "summer"
The colour I steer well clear of is Orange. I don't like it, can't wear it or craft with it either.
Have a great weekend
Patricia xx

A lovely colour choice Sarah, I like the brighter, bolder colours myself too. It's lovely to see a circular card too I'm stuck in square card mode at the moment :)

Delightful image, as always and I love the circle shape. The pink mat looks quite textured, and so pretty with the tiny posies in pink and blue. I remember 'doing the colors' - what fun it was and to have the makeup done too. I was an autumn. Oddly enough, I was already choosing most of those colors anyway, but I did get a few surprises, that were nice to know. Happy Mother's Day and TFS such a sweet & charming card. TFS & Hugs

Sweet card, I've seen a couple of circles going round the blogs tonight and I like them for a change.
I remember people getting their colours done, I never had mine done but my Mum still sticks to hers like you all these years on, do they still do it I wonder?

Awww sweet card Sarah, lovin all your pinkness!
I was told that if you look really closely at your eyes there are little flecks of colour and if it's in your iris then it should be a colour you suit!

Hehe, I remember 'colour consultants', gosh that's of a certain era isn't it! Shhh, it's showing our age, LOL. Love your sweet creation. I'm a pink girl too. I'd rather that to blue any day, but mostly because I'm really a 'green' girl! LOL. Super cute card hun. Love the sweet image and your fabulous round card design. Love the pearly finish on her ball too. Super cute hun. Hugs, Wends xoxo
