Cutie Pie Festive Furry Friend

Happy Spring Bank Holiday if you are here in the UK...elsewhere...Happy Monday!!

Furry Christmas Friends is the theme of the new challenge at

Christmas With The Cuties

Those of you that visit often will know that "cute" features often here so this was right up my street.

I used the bunny rabbit from a Your Next Stamp collection because he matched perfectly with the Lawn fawn paper pad.

I bought the mason jar shaker kit (together with lots more actually) on shopping telly a while back and this was actually my second attempt. The first went in the bin as I filled the shaker bit with glitter but despite my best efforts beforehand, with an anti static cloth, I couldn't stop the glitter sticking to the acetate bubble...lots of bad words in the craft room that day I can tell you!!

Anyway, all's well that ends well and I think the fluffy snowballs add some cute charm to the simple card.

You have plenty of time to join in and it would be so good to see you!!

Hope you have a good day xx

Cute +++Sarah, had to laugh at your description of your first attempt with the mason shaker kit, this one is perfect, love the papers and image.

Love that the DP matches your cute bunny perfectly. Well done with the shaker element, I have to say I gave up on glitter a long time ago because of that. Cheap bugle beads from Home Bargains have proved a good substitute.
Hope the thunder and lightening wasn't too bad, we had it yesterday. :)

This is soooo cute! The bunny does match the paper perfectly especially with your colouring. Are you sure he can breath in there though :D? The little snowballs look lovely.
Been there and done that with the glitter so quite understand how blue the air was in your craft room. I use Crafters Companion heat resistant acetate as it was recommended to me as being less static which it is to a point but it isn't as 'clear' as other acetate. Debra x

Oooh super cute with that fab image and the mason jar element. It is in fact compulsory to use bad language when making shaker cards..I can testify to that! xxx

Your card is really adorable, Sarah, and it really does go perfectly with that sweet pp! The snowballs are the best and I love the jar and the sediment!! I had a chuckle picturing you cursing the static ... been there, done that!! Hugs, Darnell

Awww what a cutie, you must have the most amazing stash of DP to always find something so perfect! I think I only made a shaker card once and it turned out to be a Bin effort too ;)

Now this is a delightful Christmas bunny (And I must check YNS as I like their products). It's so cute with that 'matching' paper, and your work on the shaker is just fabulous. FYI, I usually manage to say several improper words when I'm crafting. I'm beginning to think it helps the process (makes me feel better when I smudge something - and right now, it's making me feel a bit less aggravated at Blogger. I've even borrowed the British Bloody Blogger a couple times! Tells me I'm watching way too much of the Brit shows!) TFS & Hugs.

Aww, that's a cutie patootie Sarah! What perfect paper and such a cute wee bunny. They really ARE a perfect match. I had to giggle about the bad words in the craft room over the glitter being too static, there've been a few of those occasions in my own craft room! LOL. Take 2 is awesome! Such a lovely Christmas card hun. Love those wee Mama Elephant tags too, must use mine more! So convinced myself it was a 'can't live without it' purchase and yet have hardly used it! Must remedy that!! Big hugs, Wends xoxo
