Delightful Digis

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a good weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead. I had a haircut on Friday...oh my days, it feels amazing and I will never take a good hair cut for granted ever again!!

Anyway, on to the matter in hand. I am here to shout about the latest challenge at

As always we want to see your cute images and this time a digi image.

Here is my card using an image from our sponsor.

Little Mia was coloured with Promarkers to match the Craftword Cards paper that I used. Since the mojo was lacking I paid a visit to Jules' sketch vault and chose #49 this time...she really does have some fab designs that she is happy to share.

On Saturday, armed with face coverings, we headed south to the coast. We had seen in the local paper that there were cruise ships anchored off the beach in Weymouth so went to have a look for ourselves. Never having been on a cruise, we were astonished by their size...gargantuan!!

There are actually six of them "parked up". What was most alarming was how quiet Weymouth was. We had our reservations about whether to go or not but need not have worried, it was like a ghost town. We treated ourselves to a picnic lunch from M&S where it was well organised and we safely got around the food hall following the arrows!!

And here are before and after hair cut shots. I did take the scissors to the fringe during lockdown!! I am embracing the natural highlights this time as I seem to be blessed with an even sprinkling of grey, so we'll see how that goes!!

So, that's all the news. I am thankful , as always, for your visits and words of encouragement.  It is a comfort to know that there is no social distancing here and we can come and go as we please!!

Take Care xx

Beautiful post Sarah, your card is a stunning one with amazing combo of gorgeous DP.
We have coal ships lined up on our beach and often a lot of them, not cruise ships though, never been on one either and don't plan to.
You look Beautiful, your hair colour is gorgeous. I have not had my hair cut for 12 mths or coloured and am very happy with the colours peeking through of blonde, black and a bit of grey....weird colour combo but looks good. Long to my shoulders but lovely to put it up. Your hair looks so pretty... big hugs.xx

Hi Sarah....coincidentally, I was reading yesterday about a Disney Cruise ship being "parked", in the Dover area , so I think Alistair and I may take a trip down there at some point.

Anyway, your card is an absolute treat....so so pretty - gorgeous choice of papers

A sketch is one of my fave things to use when the mojo is lacking too, fab card as a result Sarah.
I agree about those cruise ships, they look as though they would topple over in a stiff breeze! We saw some in Bergen harbour and they made the large ferry look like a dinky toy!
Haircut for me a week on Friday, I feel like the Ug brothers from Wacky Races!!!

A fabulous card Sarah, a pretty image and lots of lovely layers.
My Sister lives in Weymouth, the cruise ships have been there for a while now, she said sometimes it is quiet and sometimes it is quite busy so you must have been lucky.

A super card Sarah and lovely selection of pretty papers. Lockdown made me realise I prefer my hair a bit longer so when I had it cut on Thursday it just need re-shaping a bit. Will see how it goes and your does look lovely with the sprinkling of grey. I'd be like a badger if I let my grey grow through!

What a bright and cheery card, Sarah. I love the mix of papers and the pretty flowers look lovely with the patterned backgrounds. Congrats on the haircut! I have one booked for Friday but I'm a bit nervous about it!

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip out - it looks very different from the awful pictures of beaches overcrowded on tv recently!

Hope you are well.

Beautiful card Sarah, the little girl is so sweet, fabulous colouring and papers and I love your card design and the flowers..your haircut is gorgeous, mine has to much bounce to have that exact style, which I is what I wanted, so I just had it cut short..Napier NZ where I live has banned cruise ships, they are not allowed near us which sounds harsh but that is the rules..we have not seen one since the last one docked and people wandered through our city then got sick back on board as they headed off..bit scary for our small city but we escaped it all except for 2..they do look spectacular in the water but never going on one, not my thing, I would rather buy some more paint or ink..lol..

Super cute card Sarah, I'm off to check out that link - I always find it much easier to make a card when I have a sketch to work with
Your hair is lovely, I meant to take a before-and-after pic of mine and am raging I forgot! Hopefully things will go well in the future and we don't need to revert to the shaggy look again!

Sarah, you are just the cutest!!! I still haven't made it for a hair cut. I whacked off about 4 inches myself and we joked about trimming my fringe was my new hobby, I had cut them so short. This is a darling card, I love the lay out and the little girl is almost as cute as you!

Hi Sarah

Another brilliant card .. .. and I love the name you gave my sketch collection. The sketch vault!! I might have to re-name it. Thank you for the shout out too!

Sounds like you have had a busy week. Loving your hair. I have been snipping away at mine .. .. one of the benefits of having a messy style .. .. the errors can be easily hidden LOL!! I let my natural highlights (grey) come through years ago and have to admit I quite like it.

Pleased you had a good trip out .. .. and a picnic into the bargain!

Have a good week.

Love Jules xx

Such a pretty card I love the layout and colours you have chosen, your hair looks really nice, I have not had mine cut properly for 18 years (agoraphobic) and I have only ever dyed it once and I had an allergic reaction, so at 45 years of age I am almost all grey and apart from the grey being wire like I really don't care I just wish it would hurry up and all go the same :0))

Beautiful papers and card design to showcase your cutie. I have not gone on a cruise either and I'm not sure I want to :-) I'm glad you got to enjoy a picnic. Time outdoors is so precious right now. Your hair looks great. I haven't had a hair cut since this pandemic started and I can't remember the last time my hair got this long! Mine is mostly grey - no sprinkling about it :-)
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Lena

Gorgeous hair cut Sarah! You look fab! Love the dash of salt and pepper too! Amazing about the cruise ships! That would have been quite a sight!! Lovely you got to enjoy some salt air and sunshine! Love your sweet card and Jule's fabby sketch. Perfect! Sorry it's been so long since I've been around. Life has been overly full lately. So I'm due a bit of a catch up! Hugs, Wends xoxo
