Cats or Dogs?

So, that's nearly another week of this unusual year over and what a mixed bag it's been. I was quite pleased to see the rain on Monday as the grass was looking extremely sorry for itself and now we are heading into a heatwave again so extremely early walkies for us tomorrow. That leads me nicely to the introduction of our next challenge at

this time it's all about Cats or Dogs!!

It's dogs for me (although we were honoured to have been adopted by two squatters loving cats in the past!!) there is nothing like being greeted at the door by smiley happy faces and waggy tails and a dog loves you more than anything in the whole, wide, world. Maybe not in Bumbles case actually as his devotion to his ball is unrivalled!!

I am still on a mission to use my older stamps and hunted out this sweet Kanban stamp that fits the theme perfectly. I really challenged myself with the amount of hair on this one but it's not too bad!! I did the base card first with MFT papers and coloured the image, with Promarkers to match.

It would be great to see your cats or dogs and the reason for your choice.

Here are my "boys" last week, Bowie looking very important at the back and bumble guarding his precious ball!!

See you when I do!! xx

Aww, such a cute image Sarah and well done with the fur on the dog. You are right to say that their love is unconditional, that welcome when you come back after the shortest time is so full of joy. :)

Terrific card design Sarah. Loved the comment about the cats, funny how they just show up one day and never leave. Then they surprise you with a dead snake or rabbit on your door step I guess to say thanks. What gorgeous dogs.

Hi Sarah,
it's Dogs for me every time.
Always kept Dogs for years.
Now I don't think I could mange one with my disabilities but I do wish I had one for company now I am on my own.
Love your wonderful card and that stamped image is just the cutest and you have coloured it perfectly too.
As always your design is beautifully created.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Sarah, a super card, looks like an Old English Sheepdog, we had one that lived in the neighbourhood and was forever out and about, I think the owners had to bust her out of the pound several times. Your card is in the same colour scheme as your blog, it looks great!
For me neither cat nor dog, I have a little budgie who is missing his 'brother' and the nearest petshop that sells budgies is an hour away... Have a wonderful weekend.. Megan

What a fun and sweet card, Sarah. I'm very much a dog person, mostly because I never know where I stand with a cat. The one minute it's purring and the next, it's ready to scratch your eyes out - nope cats are definitely not for me :-)
Stay well and stay cool during your heat wave. The world is going a little crazy at the moment and so is the weather apparently :-)
Hugs,
Lena

Aww so cute, love how you coloured your shaggy dog and great pic of your two beautiful boys! We're a bit jealous of your weather over here, we've hardly seen an ounce of sunshine for well over a month now, so feel free to send some across the Irish Sea Lol

Sarah, this is the cutest stamp! One of my favorite dogs ever was Baxter the sheepdog (my cousin's dog). This cute pup reminds me so much of him. You've colored him so beautifully!
