Just to say Hello

I am a "glass half full" kind of girl but am beginning to feel a bit fed up with this social isolation that has been forced on us, although by the Summer let's hope we are free to interact as we wish, once more. Even though it has been business as usual at work, it is not quite the same as a face to face chat with family or friends. For this reason I have been beavering away making cards to send just to say hello and I am thinking of you.

Which leads me nicely to the point where I can encourage you to join us at

where our prompt is your favourite occasion to send a card.

I made multiples of these cards to send, together with some "Hugs" made from felt and fabric scraps.

So that is me for today. Hope you are doing okay and see you soon xx

Love these cards and hearts. I made similar felt hearts for all the staff in my Mother-in-Laws home as a thank you. We all need a little lift in spirits. Elaine

These are sure to cheer any recipient Sarah. I agree, it was OK to be left to ones devices at first but its getting boring now! :)

Absolutely beautiful makes, and fine examples of why our crafting hobby is so good for the soul.

I happened to catch an episode of "Escape to the Country " on BBC 1 earlier in the week, where they visited your part of Dorset, in search of a property...I was beyond excited and waved at the telly like a mad woman!!!!

What a lovely idea, Sarah and those cards are sew pretty! Couldn't resist lol! Love how the gorgeous hearts coordinate with the card colours too. I agree so much about missing face to face interactions with family and friends. I'm finding very little to say in phone calls now because nothing new is happening.
Take care.

Hi Sarah, I love your cards with the pretty papers and the embroidery hoops, they looks stunning. Love the little hugs you are sending with them. Here in NSW we haven't had any community cases of Covid for over a month now and the vaccines are just getting started here. Have a wonderful week... Megan

I bet your recipients love their card and hug set. They are gorgeous and such a sweet thing to do. You know I have one of these hoop dies that I've never used. Didn't quite know what to do with it, so thanks for the inspiration :-)
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Lena
