Cherry Pie

Hello my lovely blogging buddies, I have a pie to share with you today of the cherry variety, which is actually my favourite!! The whole digi kit came from Buddly Crafts and includes not only the pie image but plates of pasta, lots of papers and tags too so a really versatile kit.

I printed the pie several times in order to create decoupage, as you can see from this shot. I added clear embossing powder  to the cherries and popped a Marianne die cut behind the pie to suggest a lace doily. The ribbon and tag were in my stash and I think the perfect sentiment was a Clearly besotted freebie that came with a magazine. I thoroughly enjoyed doing a bit of cutting and sticking for a change!!

I would like to join in at these challenges

Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes
Creative Moments #71 - Anything Goes + Embossing, wet or dry
Penny's papercrafty challenge #233 - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination #39 - Anything Goes
Simply papercrafts #7 - Anything Goes

Before I go I would like to bore you with  share with you some more visitors to the garden.

I could see this little baby out of the corner of my eye while busy crocheting.

Luckily this chap wasn't in the vicinity at the time...that might have been nasty!!

What a pretty lady. She spent a good few minutes looking in and completely ignored Suzy barking at her!!

Thank you for visiting and have a lovely evening xx

OK YUM!! This pie looks good enough to eat!! :) LOVE the dimension you've got with your image and I love the papers too!! Wow, you've got all kinds of visitors! We have the pesky rabbits that like to nibble on our garden goodies, but thank goodness we don't get much more than that! LOL!

Hi Sarah,
oh what a superb creation.
I love it.
Great designing and dcoupage too.
Love your photos of the wild life around your farm.
Now my step son lives in the town and had a family of foxes living under his shed, and guess what when they moved on as their young got older another lot took up home there.
Must have smelt the last lot and thought this must be safe.
one night the young were crying all night as their mother hadn't come back, but luckily she returned in the morning.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Looks so yummy with the layers and glistening cherries. Love that cherry 'wallpaper' and its pristine white doily to show off your delicious pie. This one looks so very realistic, with the wonderful effects you've used on it. Enjoyed seeing the pictures of your visitors too. The hawk looks so very fierce, and glad he didn't visit at the same time as Mr. Bunny. We do indeed sometimes get fairly ferocious electrical storms, but nothing really bad lately. In So Florida, we used to get even worse ones in the afternoon. Didn't realize that you didn't get such in the UK. When I watch the Brit shows, it always seems to be raining. Right now, we're rewatching the Midsommer Murders with J. Nettles (whom I liked best). Love those little villages. TFS & Have a great upcoming weekend. Hugs
